Fantastic food, very reasonably priced. Great room, very nicely furnished

The Wilsons Arms is a delightful hotel, in a hamlet, away from the hustle and bustle of Whitby. The rooms were beautiful but one bin had not been emptied and one shower did not function properly in the evening. It did the next morning. Staff were friendly and the pub had a wonderful atmosphere in the evening.

The Wilson Arms is a great place for an overnight stay . Rooms are well fitted clean and spacious , food at breakfast was good, nice evening bar on site and staff helpful etc. Enjoyed my stay, would definitely use again!

It was a lovely place to stay but the room was cold and no hot water or none of the usual toiletries you would expect to find. Also toe nail clippings at side of bed which was gross. More pillows would have been good. Food was lovely and a very modern stylish restaurant.

I have stopped here a number of times now, and its always great. the staff are friendly, the rooms really good and clean. the evening meals and breakfast are excellent. A great place to stay.

Lovely hotel, situated in a lovely village with views of Whitby abbey from our window, recently renovated. Bedroom was nice and clean as was bathroom, 2 pillows were provided one hardish the other soft but flatter, could have done with something in between. Evening meal and breakfast were good, well cooked and hot. Was in a lovely quiet area so very quiet on a night. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Could do with a shower holder in the shower so not bobbing up and down to get things off the shower floor, but that's a minor thing. Had a lovely folk band on in the new extension area. Would definitely recommend and definitely stay here again.

We are only halfway through our stay, but so far it is everything you would want in a b and b plus it's an amazing pub with really good food

Great peaceful place with beautiful views. We were well looked after and the owners made it possible for us to check in and use the room before our official check in time which was really helpful. Breakfast was lovely.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautifully decorated pub. We had a beautiful room with amazing views. Food was amazing and the breakfast was excellent quality. Lovely staff very helpful. Will definatly visit again and will reccomend to friends.

We have stayed at the Wilson Arms a few times now and its never disappointing, its dog friendly, with great staff/owners and the food is superb. shout out to the chef :-) . The rooms are always comfy and clean. We do events in Whitby and this is a great stay over for us. See you again soon.

The Wilson Inn is a lovely pub and restaurant with really comfortable rooms and decor. We stayed for 2 nights and everything was so clean including the modern bathroom . Staff were friendly and meals were excellent including the breakfast. Only a couple of miles from Whitby and lots of other places of interest, including the North Yorkshire Moors steam railway and Goathland. Would definitely recommend.

Second time staying at the Wilson arms lovely clean comfortable room staff very friendly and the breakfast was amazing. We will definitely be staying again.

This was a lovely venue and the staff were really friendly. Also, as I was leaving early for a sponsored walk and I would miss breakfast they made a packed lunch which was really thoughtful. My room was comfortable with a view of Whitby Abbey. I expect to go back and would recommend a visit.

This is a lovely pub just outside Whitby in a nice quiet area. It is clear that the pub and rooms have recently been renovated and they’ve done a good job. Breakfast was lovely. The only small issues were that the bed was squeaky and the shower was not as powerful as we would have liked. All in all a good one night stay.

Spent the night at the Wilson Arms. Lovely little pub in a very peaceful area. Friendly staff, clean rooms, fast service and lovely food from the restaurant. Would definately recommend the Wilson Arms.

We arrived very late but were met on arrival by friendly faces who were eager to help us after a long day, nothing was to much and we immediately said to each other ‘what a great bunch of people’

Excellent location just a short drive from Whitby. With no major hotel chains nearby this little Gym was found and I’ll certainly be returning every time I need to work in the area.

This is great little hotel. Used a couple of times now. Friendly staff, very clean, great rooms. No too expensive. Food and breakfast excellent. Parking good.
