Staff aren’t very welcoming, it seems like a hotel for old people and as a young family we felt a bit unwelcome. The pool however was great and very quiet on the afternoon, rooms were as expected.

The room was spacious with an amazing view of Fistral beach. Amazing location

The bed was not comfortable, would sink in the middle, no firmness. No aircon so extremely uncomfortable and difficult to sleep especially on the top floor during the heatwave. Staff were very helpful and provided a fan. Seagulls would sit on your window, knock and make a racket waking me up every morning between 4-5, noticed the people underneath feeding them.. doesn’t help! Location was good if you were happy to walk 40mins to town. Rooms were clean. Couldn’t adjust the temp of the shower, would’ve been nice to have a cold one when hot. Food was not to bad apart from asking for steak medium rare (given it really well done) asked for jkt potato got chips and poached eggs were extremely snotty.. needed cooking longer. Only a 5min walk from the beach and view points.

Nice hotel and staff. Enjoyed the swimming pool and breakfast. It was a shame the gym was closed and the room was quite basic. Would have been nice to have a fridge and iron. Overall a pleasant stay.

The room we was given was dated and dirty marks on carpets and walls staff was excellent

Was not a good hotel really. Thought we’d stop Off rather than drive home. Was dated yes staff friendly on the desk. Went up to room looked like someone left drop turd on floor at end of the bed. I walked straight back out and handed keys back. I’d rather do The 150 miles than stay in that room. Some people say it’s nice, that’s ok if you drink. We don’t drink really fair enough on the piss it’s doable. If ya sober I’d say it’s not so great. The turd mark on the floor put me off fully I took the drive option. Make sure you get insurance staying here, just in case you want a refund. 👍

hallo, Pentire is best in orde. zelf de kamers aan de zijkant zonder sicht op zee. het enige jammere was dat er feestjes op de gang georaniseerd waren en de duren nogal hard dichtklapten ook dat je de verwarming niet kon dichtdraaien en het raam maar een heel klein beetje kon openzetten Anders heel behulpzaam en vriendelijk personeel De resto was ook ok , prijs - kawaliteit

Helpful staff, small but clean room. Be careful booking through 3rd party as you have to pay £10 a day to park in there carpark.

Quiet room. Bit dated but comfortable. It was a shame the gym wasn’t in use but otherwise a nice stay.

Room was well presented but the rest of the hotel was run down and breakfast was definitely not worth the additional £11 per person. Very poor. Undercooked egg and sausage with excuse only one chef. It took ages to be served and the hotel had two coach loads of OAP’s.

Staff were lovely. Room had some fresh paint , was clean but shower head not attached properly. The bar area smelt fousty, food wasn't great. Generally building was tired looking. Spa facilities weren't available and not notified until asked to use them.

The room itself had been recently decorated in a modern decor, unfortunately our bathroom had clearly been smoked in recently, not the hotels fault given all the signs, but the smell was very overpowering and unpleasant. Despite going in winter, we couldn't get the room cool enough -we opened the window and turned off the radiator but couldn't sleep as it was too hot. In addition, there was a party downstairs we were not warned about, the music carried on very late which prevented us sleeping - we were two floors up so hardly next door to the party!

Great hotel

Very tired hotel, very poor value for money. Being told that I had to pay £10 per night to park the car in the empty hotel car park was disgraceful especially when the receptionist informed me that if I had booked direct instead of hotels.com I wouldn’t have had to pay. I mean if it wasn’t for hotels.com I wouldn’t have booked, so suck up their commission charge like every other hotel does and don’t blame the guest! Thermostat completely broken on the radiator in room, so it was 1000 degrees, meant we had to sleep with the window open, which then meant we were woken up throughout the night by cars, and then upon finally getting to sleep, by the driver of a coach outside at 630am revving the transport of the blue rinse tour (which coincidentally didn’t leave until 930) so there was absolutely no need) Everything in the room was the cheapest of the cheap including the nasty toilet paper and hand soap. The bathroom was probably the biggest joke, I had to sit on the toilet at 90 degrees which was very interesting as it was literally 15cm from the wall one way, and they had installed a sink/vainity unit 20cm at the front of the toilet! If I had paid £80-90 instead of all in £150 during our 1 night I may have thought about this rating differently, but the £10 parking fee at the start really put a bad taste in my mouth, and I suggest during the quieter months they revise this policy!

This room was better and the lovely time i had in this hotel will be a good memory , swimming pool is perfect, nice bistro and bar
