Staff very friendly and helpful, rooms a bit dated and tired. The lighting in the rooms is poor and particularly in the bathroom, not enough light to shave properly

Wanted a quiet, informal and relaxing weekend break and that is what I got.

Great location with an easy clifftop walk to Slain (Draculas) castle. Memorabilia of the town and Golf course was really intriguing. Good sized bed, large room with outdoor courtyard was a real bonus. Food and Drinks were fantastic (Try the beef pie) Some lights in the room did not work but overall really enjoyed our stay.

This hotel is very consistent. We have stayed there 3 times and have always been happy. Staff very friendly and helpful. If you have a lot of luggage, ask for a room with the least amount of steps to climb.

Hotel has that lived in, cozy feel. The staff is terrific, the food quite good, the best sticky toffee pudding in Scotland! We have stayed there twice and will return again next month.

It’s time stay for 1 night. Condition of the hotel was poor (windows frames rotting) but staff was nice and welcoming. Room was clean with tea & coffee
