We had a really wonderful stay! Lynn was especially super friendly and made us feel welcome right away. She also gave us great tips on places to visit and things we absolutely shouldn’t miss. After continuing our trip, we only then realized how many little details were done perfectly here and how much we missed them in the next hotel — things like USB charging ports, a refilled water carafe, or even a full kettle in the room. It’s exactly those small details that make all the difference. Thank you for such a lovely stay!

If I could give the Rathbaun Hotel more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel genuinely welcome—warm, kind, attentive, and incredibly hospitable. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and their level of care truly made the stay memorable. Now, the beds… wow. Easily some of the most comfortable bedding I’ve slept in while traveling. Honestly, 10/10 on the bedding alone—soft, cozy, luxurious, and exactly what you want after a long day exploring Ireland. I slept incredibly well. The rooms do have a slightly dated feel, but they were spotless, well-maintained, and very comfortable. I also really appreciated the in-room coffee bar and tea station—such a thoughtful touch that made the space feel even more welcoming. This hotel has charm, comfort, and some of the friendliest hospitality I’ve experienced. I would absolutely recommend the Rathbaun Hotel to anyone visiting the area, and without question, I’ll be staying here again when I return to Ireland!

A quaint little town and this hotel is in a perfect area. The hotel itself provides whatever you might need. The restaurant it’s literally amazing! The food will blow you away!! There is no AC but they were able to provide a fan. Amazing service by everyone that works there! Truly an unforgettable stay.

The staff was amazing, so helpful and attentive. The facility was very clean and in a safe and quiet area. Breakfast was fabulous and the owner makes her own jams which was beyond amazing!!!

Super helpful staff. Nice bar where you could get a scone and coffee rather than a full breakfast.

Siamo stati in questo hotel per una notte. L'accoglienza è stata eccezionale, la struttura è vicinissima alle scogliere di Moher ed è perfetto per andarci sul tardi, quando non c'è nessuno e si gode di una atmosfera migliore. Appena arrivati, i ragazzi della hall ci hanno dato tanti consigli e si è visto che tenevano tanto a farci sentire quasi a casa. C'è un parcheggio gratuito a meno di un minuto dall'hotel. Consigliatissimo!

We could not brag enough about this place! It was clean and the staff were helpful and friendly! Lynn was fabulous! We took her advice on where to go and what to see and had the best time! We will definitely be back!
