The hotel is really bad conditions. Carpets are stained and old. Air conditioning( per description) it had it, but it didn’t work and they did not provide fans. He room was so hot couldn’t sleep. The beds are tiny more look like a cot very uncomfortable. Management was not helpful when explained the AC situation. The site should not not advertise this hotel. If there was a lower score than 1 star it will be a negative score. Very disappointed

Dirty, the Hotel old gray hair man refuses to turn on the air conditioner which clearly states on their website that the room has air conditioning. We checked out the next day and he refused to refund us the two more nights we didn't stay claimed due to the hotel policy, that is bull crap. The policy should not apply because we didn't have air conditioning and were made to sleep in a hot dirty room. Shower was tiny water leaks all over the bathroom. Beds were hard as a rock.

The reception lady didnt even acknowledge my presence for 5 mins seeing me there. She was quite rude in her tone. To get to the rooms 3 flights of stairs and narrow hallways without any luggage services. But perfect location.

Die Lage des Hotels ist gut. Das 1. Zimmert im Hotel Messner war eine Besenkammer, abgenutzt. Im Messner Palace ist der Zustand besser, ich bin froh gewesen wechseln zu können!

I have stayed at Hotel Messner previously so my expectatiions were essentially unchanged. Lovely staff and the location was 'primo'

remarquablement situé, cet hôtel familial dispose de chambres assez calmes, lumineuses et sans vis-à vis, dans un quartier à l'écart des flux touristiques de masse. La gestion demeure vieillissante et la rénovation plus une priorité, le petit-dej est presque martial sur les horaires, mais cela reste propre et très pratique. Les communications avec la réception sont un peu compliquées avant l'arrivée comme ensuite.

We were offered one two for two guests. Carpet, bathroom, room moldy and dirty. The light went out at night. No tv in room. Terrible staff rude. Beware do not stay here.

Con grande dispiacere posso dire che ho soggiornato nelle prime 2 ore in una struttura vecchia sporca e scadente poi ho preteso che mi cambiassero di struttura per una mia sicurezza. La seconda stanza dove ho passato la prima notte diciamo decente ma con il bagno fuori dalla stanza e anche di parecchio le scale con le pareti piende di muffa. Terza la terza stanza invece abbastanza bella comoda e silenziosa i letti di tutte e te le stranze abbastanza scadenti per non parlare dei cuscini troppo morbido ma questa è una valutazione personale

OLD BED. Tiny shower. Tiny room.

La chiave della camera non funziona. L'hotel alla fine ci ha costretti, noi ospiti, ad aiutarli ad aprire la chiave. La temperatura dell'aria condizionata non è regolabile. Il bagno è sporco. Manca il tappo della vasca. Il soffione della doccia non è in buone condizioni.

The whole place is run down. The room was pokey, with the ceiling looking ready to fall in. The furniture bed surround was falling apart, I did not feel safe unpacking anything into it, so we kept everything in our bags. The manager was blunt and unwelcoming. The bathroom wsd tiny with a broken shower curtain, and the plug in the sink did not work. When we used the shower in the morning, the whole bathroom flooded and overflowed into the room. The corridoors and everything about the place was in disrepair. Awful.

Hotel padrão para Veneza porém o quarto fica na quadra do hotel, ou seja é um anexo que necessita subir várias escadas e detalhe não tem Wi-Fi como mencionado na reserva, o quarto fica longe do hotel reservado e sem internet, reclamei da ausência de sinal e sequer fui acolhida me entregaram um cartão para futura reclamação, café pago a parte e sem muita variedade, existe opções bem melhores na cidade para hospedagem!!

The walls are a little thin and in room 2 I could hear the restaurant and reception area. Take ear plugs but staff very friendly the restaurant staff very nice too.

Very clean and nice little place in Venice. Friendly staff that speaks English and Spanish. Location is very conveniently close to Le Zitelle.

Complete scam, dirty & unkept. Small room.

Me and my party had trouble finding the reception area as the area we were told to go to check in wasn't the reception area. When we called the staff to find out where to go, we talked to the receptionist who did not speak english and couldnt transfer us to anyone who could. By chance we stumbled into the reception area and got our keys. We were told there would be wifi in our room however, there was not. We asked for wifi and they told us to return at 1 am in the morning to talk with them to fix the problem. When me and my party tried to go to the hotel restaurant to use the wifi we were told to leave as they closed their restaurant 2 hours earlier than they advertised. Overall there are so many better places to stay at that this place is not worth your time, money or brain power trying to work with the unhelpful staff. I would never recommend this place at its current state and will never return to the Messner when I come back to Venice.
