One of the best pools in the world in my opinion. Great resort with clean, spacious rooms. Above average food for a resort.

The staff were amazing and made you feel at home. The rooms were very spacious and always cleaned daily. Definitely will be our go to resort in the future. If you like whale watching it doesn't get better.

Beautiful stay. The only reason why I’m giving this 4/5 stars is because I tried multiple times to get ahold of someone from the hotel prior to the trip and no one ever answered, emailed me back, etc.

Good food for all inclusive - pool was not too crowded so seats available. They only take credit card or peso at the front desk.

Almost too quiet but great experience overall.

Even if you prepay like I did they require a $500 deposit and strongly encourage you to charge everything to your room. Also be prepared for a high-pressure sales pitch to sign up for their time share presentation and they will hound if you don't. Other than that, it was a high price resort with a good view, but the value just wasn't there for the proximity to the ocean. Service and hotel were average at best.

Well what i didn't like was the size of the room. It was tiny compared to the room i had next door 7yrs ago. The room i got at playa resort was huge. Two bathrooms full kitchen living room extra large bedroom big balcony overlooking marine. The room they gave me at Grand Solamar reminded me of a Hampton inn room. With a ocean view. For the price i paid i was not impressed at all.

We have stayed here several times and always enjoy our stay. Beautiful property, many pools and great dining options . Close to the Marina .

Excelente hotel. Lugar con ambiente tranquilo, fresco, con excelente vista y ubicación. Hay que estar preparado al check out ya que es bastante lento, por lo demás, excelente en todo sentido.
