Great price and convenient for royal Hampshire hospital

Not sure where to start with this one. I’ll admit I did make the booking only a few weeks away from our arrival and because of that some of our regular hotels in the area were not available. I took a look at this Days in online and while it wasn’t ideal in terms of location I figured it looked ok for the few days we needed it. The first issue was I booked a family room with multiple beds and was given a room with a single bed. When I went to the front desk I was told that even though I booked a room with multiple beds they decided to give me one with a single bed because I put on guest at time of booking. I also prepaid for the early check in a few days before arrival and it was not in the system when I arrived. All that said the gentleman at the front desk did change the room and allow the 1pm check-in. I thought that was the end of any issues until I actually got into the room, the condition of the room left a bit to be desired. I’m not sure when last the carpet had ever been cleaned. There was Mold in the shower and around the tub, I had to create a shower mat out of a plastic bag in order to use it. There were spiders and other creatures in the room. The bathroom sink drain was stuck shut and I asked a member of staff to assist hoping he would see the condition of the room and maybe realise the room hadn’t been cleaned (in months) he just banged at it with a spoon and acted like I should have been able to fix it. This was not a great experience at all.

A little bit tired looking but very clean, bed super comfy suitable for 1 night. Remember to bring shower gel and soap as none provided.

It’s an amazing deal and an ideal place to stop for a night on your travels. The staff are friendly and very helpful.

Our family was traveling internationally and couldn’t make local phone calls when our rental car had a puncture issue, the hotel owner was very nice and helpful to call rental company to arrange road side assistance. Much appreciated!

Not worth half what we paid. Moldy shower, dirty toilet and the toilet roll had fallen onto the floor in the corner which drew our attention to how filthy that whole corner was. Only one outlet in the whole room. Staff was friendly and fine but the place overall was dingy and creepy, far overpriced even at £99.

The nearby facilities with cafe etc nearby were really good. Bed linen nice & clean but hair seen in the bath! Service was - frankly - sloppy. Despite cancelling one of the booked rooms and being told card details given were just to secure the booking the card was still charged the original larger amount (& even before my arrival). No apology and no amended receipt was offered without insistence. In addition, one of our allocated rooms already had someone in it.

It did the job for a one night stay. The room was dated, the tap dripped and the plug didn't fit in the sink. Otherwise it was okay for 1 night

Unfortunately when we arrived in our room the door was already open, which might be a normal thing but it was dark and 10 pm at night, and we were two girls so anyone could have been in are room ! Again it was 10pm and we was tired as we had travelled from London so panic mode had set in . Once in the room both bursting for the toilet NO toilet roll and didn’t want to go back to the reception as we was up stairs we couldn’t have a drink as there was only one milk sachet ! No tea bags so nothing to drink , the desk was covered in food crumbs which was absolutely disgusting! So we couldn’t go to toilet couldn’t drink ! So we went to sleep bed was lovely which was nice , so instead of getting up having a drink before we got back on the motorway we got up early and got out quick to find toilets ! Not a great experience, my daughter had just finished university and going on a road trip to Devon and this is was supposed to be the beginning of our trip and we just wanted out !! Stayed in better hostel :( sorry !

Très mitigé ! La nuit : confort pas mal. Donc juste 2 étoiles pour les lits! Pas trop bruyant malgré la route. Douche avec moisissures. Mur de chambre sales. Petit dej : la blague vu le prix : des boîtes en carton avec 4/5 trucs.... Personne a la réception entre 7h30 et 9h15... Nous n avions plus de papier toilette... Les enfants ont dû attendre....

Basic accomodation which is reflected in the price. Perfectly adequate for an overnight stay. Some areas are dated and rooms could do with some tlc but it was clean and had everything we needed.

Beds were nice and comfy

We arrived & were given our key. In the room there were 2 TV’s neither of them worked due to wires being broken. Our shower had mould on the floor & after being on for less than 30 seconds started to overflow onto the floor due to the drain being blocked. The only staff member on shift came to the room twice to fix it but couldn’t. We were offered to wait until 11pm with 2 small children sleeping or the next morning. We asked to move rooms, this wasn’t able to happen. Our beds were extremely uncomfortable too.

The accomodation was booked with breakfast, but they don’t have breakfast only a breakfast box!! The room was very dirty, they never clean it during your stay. I would not recommend it to anybody.

Staff super helpful but missing a deafguard for guests, management need to resolve this urgently.

Quick and pleasant check-in. Clean and spacious room

No breakfast was seen that I pod for throughout. Property smells bad, it’s grubby inside and there’s loots of rubbish outside around the eating area where' I saw a large rat. Also there’s lots of noise from the services. If you are desperate to rest and the price is right it’s fine but have no expectations beyond 1-2 star in quality.
