We stayed at the Sunbird Lodge for 3 nights, and it was very peaceful and quiet. It had two twin beds, a set of bunk beds, small kitchenette, television, air conditioning, desk and chair, as well as outdoor patio. The pool was clean and extremely warm, but refreshing. The outside area was well maintained and staff was always busy keeping it that way. The common area had a bar (honor system) and rooftop patio with comfortable furniture. The breakfast area was beautifully arranged and we enjoyed the large fish tank. The breakfast was delightful, as well as delicious and made to order. There was plenty to choose from. The staff, especially the hosts deserve recognition for such warm hospitality and recommendations. Dave made Safari reservations for us and our guide was simply the best. The restaurant recommendation was wonderful so we eat there 3 times! We would not hesitate to stay there again and highly recommend. Thumbs up to Sunbird Lodge! Thank you!

What an amazing gem in Phalaborwa. Host was super friendly and on point with everything. The rooms were spotless nothing was spared on attention to detail. I would highly recommend any traveler to this Guesthouse.

Ruhig gelegen, sehr freundlicher, hilfsbereiter Besitzer. Falls wir noch mal nach SA kommen, werden wir ein drittes Mal dort für mehrere Tage übernachten.

Very attractive and comfortable

Für ein paar Tage vor oder nach Kruger Park bestens geeignet. Sauberkeit besonders bei corona Zeit ist groß geschrieben. Sehr freundliches Personal, toller Garten, sicherer Parkplatz.

Schöne gepflegte kleine Anlage. Sehr grosse saubere Zimmer mit Gartenblick. David hat uns super Tipps gegeben zum Krüger Nationalpark und Umgebung. Wir würden wieder dort übernachten.

Clean rooms, but very basic. Excellent breakfast. Is however expensive for what you get.

Quiet, peaceful setting with beautiful grounds. Rooms are large, clean and very private. Has pool and bbq area. We were warmly welcomed by Dave our host, who, along with his wife, Sam, was extremely helpful throughout our stay. All of his recommendations panned out as promised. We stayed there as a base to explore Kruger Park. Great experience!

Sunbird is a wonderful B&B with gracious hosts, beautiful grounds including a fab swimming pool and quiet rooms. Breakfast was 5 star. We had a 2 night stay 6 of us as we toured Kruger. Recommend it.

Je recherchais un logement proche du park kruger et bien je n'ai vraiment pas était déçut notre hôte est genial super compréhensible. J'ai même oublié une affaire très importante et il me la gardé jusqu'à ce que je revienne. Calme, détendant, une très bonne connection au wifi, je recommande.
