Nice light bites evening menu, nice continental breakfast, hosts very friendly, good sellection in bar. Quirky little place. Our room it was just a shower hose in the bath but we managed Outside and beer garden could do with a tidy up. For the price it was ok

What fantastic hosts, who were welcoming and friendly and just fantastic to our group who arrived sopping wet from a day’s cycling and provided a last minute feast when we were let down by our evening dinner booking. The rooms and facilities were perfect.

The Ashbank is a lovely little hotel. Comfortable, clean and welcoming. Already planning to go back same weekend next year and stay a wee bit longer, as the bath is very deep and looks ideal for a muscle soak after running a half marathon! And, of course, Carradale is a beautiful place, small, quiet, surrounded by huge trees and open landscapes, on the less beaten track down the east side of Kintyre. Go see the area, you won't be disappointed.

Room clean and hot water a plenty for shower. Our twin room situated next to public toilet for use by non residents noisy. Quiet during the night nice view of golf course from widow. Tv didn’t work

The owners of this hotel are lovely people and I very much enjoyed my short stay. It was quiet, there was sheep outside which was fun to watch and the hotel offered hot food and drinks. I would love to stay here again!

Great wee place, rooms are small but dead cozy with a daft wee sink but great shower. No cooked breakfast despite online photos, maybe because off season, so ask ahead. No evening meal availability again maybe due to season,lovely 20 minute walk to Glen Hotel which is open all year round. Plenty off books,DVD'S and board games for staying inside in the bad weather. Staff are brilliant especially Lizzie and Skipper. Great location for harbour and forest walks. Had a great stay,would definitely go again.

We had such a brilliant stay here. A lovely family run place. Wonderful breakfast, access to bar where locals are regulars too so had a good night and got some tips for our trip. Lovely spot on the Kintyre peninsula. Would love to go back.

The hotel owners/hosts, Sharon and John were very welcoming and friendly including Sharon offering to drive me to a local restaurant and later coming back to collect me. The Continental breakfast was generous, varied and more than enough to satisfy and set you up for the day! When I am next in that area, I’ll certainly book to stay at the Ashbank and shall make the recommendation for others to do so too!

Geen echt hotel meer, nu een B&B, waar ze wel hun best doen, doch al een beetje gedateerd is. Zeer vriendelijke mensen, ontbijt lekker en voldoende ( continentaal ), wij hadden kamer 2, die wat klein is, zeker de badkamer
