We had a wonderful two night stay at the Xara Palace. We were offered an upgrade (paid for) the the Presidential Suite on arrival - it was 100% worth it. The space was fabulous, wonderful bathroom and lounge area. The hotel has a private, secluded feel. The pool (5mins drive) is extremely relaxing, wonderful service from Noor and Izor who drove us there each day. Would recommend a drink on the terrace if possible, the champagne trolley is fantastic. We ate in the Trattoria (definitely recommend) and explore local restaurants in Rabat too. Will definitely be back.

Beautiful hotel in lovely Mdina with superb staff. Disappointed to learn that the swimmingpool was unavailable for half of our stay 😟

Perfection, personified. History and excellence combined. Incredible surroundings, stunning interiors and view, together with exquisite customer service - all the little details are always covered. Be sure to try Chef Clint’s Michelin starred cuisine in The De Mondion restaurant - incredible!

The staff was excellent and very welcoming. We liked all the history that we learned about the area with activities that were available to us to do so. The Xara Palace is nice but not as spectacular as what we see all over Malta. I think a bit of a revamping could be useful. All in all a very good place to stay.

Exceptional hotel, worth every penny. Staff was attentive, helped with arrival logistics, and booked us two dinners. The hotel's Michelin restaurant was one of the best meals of our lives, and we've sampled some of the best. Authentic Maltese meal and wine pairing.

Excellent location, elegant and steeped in history and class in every corner. It’s so easy to boast about service and engagement, it’s a whole different thing to do it. Well done, you do it with commitment to go the extra mile as a team day and naturally.

A beautiful hotel in a convenient location just inside Mdina walls, the Xara Palace has the highest quality you would expect at a Relais et Châteaux property. The staff is superb and everyone went out of their way to make sure all of our needs were fulfilled. Not to be missed is dinner at the hotel’s de Mondian restaurant!

This was my first stay in a palace and it was fantastic. My room was palatial and very nicely decorated. What can you say about 20 foot ceilings…bed and bedding was super comfortable and the bathroom was very beautiful and perfectly functional. Shower was great. The circular stairs kept me physically active. 2 great sofas and only one of me. The staff was professional and kind, and Sara was ready to assist with any question or need. It was a nice comfortable luxurious stay in a fantastic palace hotel

Fabulous hotel with most beautiful decor and general vibe in a wonderful historic location. The lounge area of our suite was one of the loveliest we have ever experienced with the perfect combination of luxury, comfort and space. Staff were very helpful and attentive. Truly a 5-star experience

From our arrival to our departure we were made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble for the Xara team. Very comfortable and very relaxing - very nice people.

This first class hotel embedded inside the city walls of Mdina made us feel like nobility both from a historical aspect and by the level of service we received. Truly one of a kind!
