Only thing I didn’t like is when we came back in at 1am we were locked out of our room an the side entrance where we parked had to walk all the way around the hotel just to get in

the musky smell was overwhelming

Overpriced for the quality and the location. The stay was adequate. Furniture in the room could use replacement -wear and stains noted although the style of the lounge chair was nice.

Staff was exceptional. They were all very friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to make sure we were happy Room was large and well kept. Everything was clean and breakfast was typical but good

I enjoyed the courtesy that they extended by letting me do an early check in as I was there for a formal event and needed to get dressed! The staff was really friendly and check-in was quick. The establishment was clean, comfortable and welcoming ❤️

This stay was better than the last few I have been to. The front desk receptionist was amazing, kind and helpful. She was quick and friendly. The pool was clean along side the room. Breakfast was above board especially when you have people like Marsha working for your establishment. My son went to get pancakes and only one came out. The batter bag was empty. He was okay with the one, but Marsha noticed that he was waiting. We sat to eat and she sought us out to ask if we wanted more. Next thing you know, this employee showed up to our table (without being prompted) with a stack of pancakes butter and syrup for the three of us. This is not the kind of service you get anymore. Way to go Marsha for going the extra mile when you don’t have to!! We come to Rockingham pretty often because we have family in the area. This is one reason we will continue to use Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites wherever we come to town from now on. Thank you for a great stay and wonderful staff! Can’t wait to see y’all next month.

I have consistently enjoyed my stays at this hotel, from the moment of check-in to the time of departure. I have been a loyal guest for several years whenever visiting family in the area, and the level of service remains exceptional. One of the most notable aspects of each visit is the warm and professional welcome provided by Mrs. Vee at the front desk. Her energy, knowledge, and dedication to guest satisfaction are truly exemplary. Having stayed at numerous properties within the IHG portfolio, I can confidently say that Mrs. Vee is among the finest representatives of the brand.

It’s a well maintained area considering where it is. (end of the lot). The staff is very friendly and informative also. This was my first time staying at this establishment and I’d would do it again.

Ms. Vee and Dana were AWESOME! Can't thank them enough for taking such WONDERFUL care of me & my girlfriend. I hope they get to read this. If so, Thank You Very...VERY...Much!!!

I like how clean it was

Easy and fast check in, front desk was friendly. Room was clean and stocked with toiletries. No complaints.

I didn't go, I cancelled the reservation but they still charged me the full amount , I'm waiting for my refund
