お部屋は清潔で、スタッフの対応も良かったです。レストランは朝食と夕飯をとりましたが、満足のいくお食事でした。

Perfect stay. Location wonderful, Sansend is a very special favourite place. Hotel and grounds a real pleasure, staff pleasant and efficient, food very good, facial a real treat.

An amazing stay in the beach house. Comfiest bed, attention to detail was perfect and left a birthday card for me. Staff were amazing and the spa is so relaxing and the perfect place to relax

Great food, high quality service. Unfortunately, despite staying at one of the most expensive suites, treatment and spa slots were not reserved or offered so we missed out on treatments due to no availability. In addition, the orchard suite, which was recommended for its privacy felt a bit like a basement, and its outdoor bathtub was overlooked by the suite balconies above.

Beautiful hotel and surrounding gardens. Rooms very spacious and clean. Only small issue the tables in orangery could have been cleaner.

We really enjoyed our stay but found the cleaning timetable below expectations. We like to relax after lunch but our room was not cleaned until after 3pm which meant that we had to arrange our activities around the hotel schedule rather than the other way round. When we asked there appeared to be no flexibility in the cleaning schedule .

Unfortunately not a perfect stay which was very disappointing with it being my husband’s birthday, booked through Hotels.com so not allowed to use the pool unless we paid £45 each, I have never heard of this before.The rooms are very nice but paying £5 for nut or crisps is ridiculous. The breakfast was very underwhelming with minimal choice, awful cold poached eggs, cold plates, weak coffee, all left me feeling very sick! Not worth £291 for one night.

Great hotel in a great location. Service 1st class

Booked for a babymoon break over New Year and we got exactly what we wanted - a restful break in a hotel with great facilities. Our room was very comfortable especially the bed, the pool area is lovely with its windows on to the adjacent stream and waterfall, a great variety at breakfast and when we dined in the restaurant one evening, it was the best meal we had the whole trip. Highly recommend for trips to Whitby and the surrounding area.

Great staff

Very nice stay. Electric charging point for car which was really convenient. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. Cosy room was very clean and spacious with a large bathroom. Swimming pool was brilliant. We can thoroughly recommend a stay at this lovely hotel

Wonderful stay in the woodland view rooms, shame no jacuzzi.

Fantastic scenic experience with wonderful staff who were eager to ensure our comfort. Dinner at the restaurant was divine and capped off a lovely stay. I had some personal discomfort with the type of spring mattress in our room, however, overall we enjoyed a comfortable and relaxing stay.
