Lovely comfortable room and bathroom. The garden overlooking the field is a nice bonus. Friendly staff and lovely pub.

The room clean a tidy with a really nice duck down duvet, tea and coffee provided + a dresser & chair. Shower was good size and hot. The staff & locals were very welcoming, food was very good. When i am back up that way i will be booking a room here again.

The main room was OK but the bath room needed updating. The radiator in the bathroom was not very good took ages to heat up.

We had a triple room, very comfortable bed and nice room but sofa bed very hard. Great pub and food.

The evening meal was quite good, although service in the restaurant and bar was glum. The kettle in the room didn't work, I left a note to tell them but haven't heard from them.

After a long day walking arriving here was a pleasure. The staff were welcoming and although the kitchen was about to close they held off closing and served me.The room was just what was needed. Clean, and quite, and a comfortable bed. In the morning there was a very generous continental breakfast that kept me going for quite a long stretch of that day's walking without need to refuel! I would most certainly recommend this place and would definitely stay again if I was passing through.

Arrived late to a nice welcome from the girls behind the bar. Shown to my room and after unpacking I went back to the bar and had a few drinks and a bite to eat. Will definitely recommend

Room was spacious, bed was comfy. Great value for money. The breakfast was delicious too!

Great people, old building so creaky stairs 🙄 lovely sized room, bathroom could do with a little tlc, but perfectly adequate. The food was delicious 😋

Noone was there to give me the key so i had to go away and come back when the pub was open.
