Beautiful boutique hotel, the rooms are lovely and the staff attentive. A delicious and varied breakfast with Valerio and the team on the top floor, is a wonderful way to start the day. The location is fantastic too.

This is an overpriced and underwhelming hotel. Super expensive for what you get. Service is poor and the property is old. I could hear everything from the room next door making it awkward and difficult to sleep. The only good aspects about the property were the location and the breakfast. Overall, not recommended.

We love staying at this property. The location is central and very convenient to many of the highlights of a Roman holiday. It’s nice that it isn’t terribly touristy by the hotel though all things are accessible. There’s a great breakfast that is included from a rooftop restaurant. The rooms are well sized and sophisticated in design and feels more residential rather than “hotel cookie cutter” like. The staff is very professional, helpful and pleasant. We love the guidebook that the owner has written that they give you when you check-in. It gives you an insider’s look into the places to shop and eat.

Excellent value for money. The hotel has a great location, very good staff and very clean. Breakfast is very good and room was large.

I've stayed in a number of SLH hotels and it's usually a superlative experience. While the Babuino staff were nice, the hotel was missing the attention to detail I've come to expect from SLH - door frames were chipped, floors were heavily scratched up, bad lighting, the heater hummed so loudly I had to turn it off to sleep, screw holes in the walls in the room (shelving had been removed but not covered up).

Our stay was great! The location is amazing and very convenient. We definitely would recommend and return.

We loved our stay here. 40 minute walk to Colosseum, and 20/30 minute walk to Trevi Fountain, and Pantheon. Closer to The Spanish Steps. Very crowded even on off peak time though but hotel was amazing and included breakfast was a huge plus!

We enjoyed our stay over the holidays. Our room was small, but very well appointed. We were not able to control the heat, so my husband did crack a window because it was extremely warm in our room. Breakfast had a great variety and delicious cappuccino’s. The area was so walkable and lovely. We will stay again in the future.

Babuino 181 e’ un albergo in cui mi trovo sempre benissimo . Ha una posizione favolosa, le camere sono spaziose e molto funzionali, tutto fatto con grande gusto. C e anche una macchinetta per il caffe’ espresso in camera, dettaglio per me importantissimo. Saponi, bagno schiuma etc di altissima qualita’. Ma il top e’ il terrazzo , coperto dove si fa la prima colazione , anche questa di altissima qualita’ e molto varia. Il personale di sala gentilissimo e molto ben “addestrato “ cosa non tanto comune oggi giorno, dove si e’ perso un po’ il “modo di fare “con i clienti . La ragazza che ci ha servito la colazione, Nicole, merita una menzione per la sua disponibilita’ e cortesia.

Small hotel. Great location. Amazing breakfast. Rooms are different and not all of them have a good layout.
