The stay was lovely but we got asked for additional costs when we got there… for our baby… we were also told they do not take under fives even though we put this on our booking..

We stay for just one night, but it was a big night (my parents 50th) and had much organising to do, despite running late (all that prep for a big party!) Joanne was accommodating and kind and waited for our later arrival. When we got there, everything was so easy and clean and comfortable - making the rest of our stay so much calmer and fun. We could just simply relax and enjoy our weekend. We will likely return, but this time with our dog - as the hotel is dog-friendly and Paignton has a brilliant 'dog beach'!

Joanne was a wonderful host, who greeted us warmly on arrival. Breakfast was great who was accommodating to my daughters needs and requests.

Lovely room, exactly as pictured, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Wifi a bit slow, but really no problem. We didn’t stay for breakfast but other guests said it was lovely. Handy for beach, pubs and restaurants. Only problem is parking, no parking outside property so parked 5 mins away.

Trentham guesthouse var ett jättetrevligt ställe. Vi fick mycket goda råd om restauranger och utflykter av värdinnan.

Very friendly, really comfortable beds, one of the cleanest b & b I have ever staid in and I have spent time in a large amount of hotels and b & bs in this area over the years, I would recommend this to family and friends

A bright and freshly painted room on a quiet street. It had a comfortable bed and was sparkling clean. A good sized breakfast in the morning. The guest house is tucked away down a side street but only moments from the seashore.

Great B&B, thanks to Tyron and Joanne we had a great time. They were lovely and gave us great advice for day trips in the area.

Utroligt sødt værtspar, der bød os velkomne og hjalp med parkeringsplads. Fin beliggenhed tæt på stranden. Morgenmad blev tilberedt efter individuelle ønsker. Fik god hjælp, da vi fik problemer med bilen. Værten ringede rundt og fandt et værksted til os. Værelset var småt, men meget rent og indbydende. Kan anbefales.

We enjoyed a long weekend, the weather was perfect and Tony and Joanne made us very welcome ! We particularly enjoyed Tony's jokes! The breakfast was really good too.

I have stayed in my fair share of B+B's but nothing comes close to Trentham guest house. The first thing you will notice upon arrival is how friendly and welcoming your hosts are. Tyron and Joanne are perhaps the most welcoming couple I've ever had the pleasure of meeting, they always stop for a chat and make you feel like you're still in the comfort of your own home. The room is exceptional for only £28 a night, the place is literally spotless and full of good facilities. The breakfast is also superb, they have a brilliant routine where you can pick exactly what you want and have the breakfast out to you literally within 5 minutes of coming downstairs. I have never seen such efficiency before. If you're looking for a cheap yet memorable getaway, I can't recommend this place enough.
