Room was comfortable and rustic. Lots of history at this hotel. Close to train station. Amazing views from the hotel!

Everything worked!

Property was historic in nature. Quite grand. Many artifacts from the region during the ages in the region. ie: Snow sleds; ancient skis; racing sleds. Magnificent hotel. Dining room chandelier was massive. Staff were very nice. Meriam spared no expense to ensure i was very comfortable during my stay. Breakfast provided for anyones taste and needs. Highly recommend it.

Incredible location, the view from the room balconies was just breathtaking. The staff was amazing and definitely made my stay at hotel Regina more pleasant. The restaurant was excellent, and breakfast delicious as well.

Bei der Ankunft informierte man uns das wir ein "Upgrate" für das Zimmer erhalten hätten. Ursprünglich hatten wir die Junior Suite gebucht. Nun erhielten wir ein Standartzimmer, daß wie sich für uns herausstellte im Preis pro Nacht CHF 100.- günstiger gwesen wäre. Wir hätten also CHF 200.- mehr bezahlt, für ein Zimmer, dass wir gar nicht reserviert hatten. Nach unserer Beschwerde, liess man uns dann doch in das ursprünglich von uns reservierte Hotelzimmer einziehen. Das Sofa viel direkt auseinander beim ersten darauf Sitzen, dabei viel uns der gesamte Dreck zwischen den Sofaschlitzen vor die Füsse (ecklig). Der Abdichtungsknopf vom Lavabo sprang uns regelrecht entgegen als wir diesen einstellen wollten. In der Dusche erwartete uns der erste "Silberfisch" und das Bett war der absolute "Killer", da sich unter der wunderbar durchgelegenen Matratze nichts weiter befand als hartes, rustikales Holz. Das Frühstücksbuffet war teilweise sehr unapettitlich. Z.B. waren die Rühreier schon teilweise verbrannt und sahen furchtbar aus, genau wie der verbrannte, schwarze Speck daneben. Der Service am zweiten Morgen war extrem unprofessionel und brachte mir eine halbe Tasse Kaffe, bei dem mir der Kaffeesatz bereits aus der Tasse zuwinkte. Bei der Bitte, dass wir wie alle anderen Frühstücksgäste eine kleine Kanne Kaffee erhalten könnten, wurde dies dann endlich umgesetzt. Die Sauna musste auch selbst eingestellt werden. Fazit: Für uns kein 4 Sterne, sondern ein klassisches 2 Sterne Hotel!

Fantastic property with great views. The staff were excellent, the rooms were clean with wonderful appointments. Great restaurant on the first floor, allot of history, and we would love to come back for another 4 days. Highly recommend!!!!

Everything was wonderful! Location ,hospitality and food amazing! Views from room were amazing!! But, the shower was moldy and toilet had dark brown stains. A deep clean and update the scratched up furniture this would have been perfect!!! Parking is limited and you have to hike your luggage up the hill a bit.

Always great to go back to one of the finest hotels in Wengen.

Clean but old building. Good breakfast with a lot of tasty variety dishes, especially different tasty pies. Too weak and cold coffee. Afternoon tea did not meet our expectations. Two different bag teas together with a dry sponge cake with a somewhat not attentive service. Ski in - ski out is not possible, but there are only two to three minutes walking distance to the ski rental service and the train station. Summary: All-in all good experience but room for small improvements!

The hotel is alright. A little dated, but that’s a part of Swiss mountain charm. Room needs some work, but overall everything was good. The views are just breathtaking!

Lovely hotel from bygone era. Mostly lovely staff. Bring all your adaptors as there's not a usb in sight. Great breakfast buffet.

Very old, dated, and not worth it.

Enjoyed our stay at Regina, it is in a fantastic location. Ski in/ out The staff were very helpful and we felt very welcome. The hotel is a grand dame, decorated for Christmas it has a charm that new smart establishments can’t re/create. The spa of steam room and sauna was great at the end of the day. Our bed was very comfortable and slept very well, but had to leave the balcony door slightly a jar because there was no way of turning down the radiator, not very eco friendly. No fridge or safe in the rooms. Very cute balcony with a beautiful view of the mountains.

I can’t say enough about the friendly and responsive staff. Stunning views and charming lobby/living room area with fireplace, bar and piano. Only minor criticism is that there was no small refrigerator in the room. Front desk and Mauricio at the bar were super-nice and responsive. New cook, who owned his own hotel for 3 decades in Alsace, was excellent!

Beautiful view with balcony. Room was not large but made up for it with view and cleanliness. Staff are nice and dinner in restaurant was good.

Great location but rooms really need to be updated

It was excellent. We do have concerns about the safety of the bathtub. We recommend installing more grab bars and non slip strips. It is a high tub and sides are curved. Presents a high risk for falls. We are seniors ourselves and have extensive experience in geriatrics. Also recommend improved lighting in the rooms and stairways. Please know we absolutely loved our time at the hotel and in Wengen. You asked for feedback so we are offering ours! We love your hotel, will be back and will spread the word on how wonderful you are!
