Nice location, large room and bathroom, everything supplied (iron, iron board, hairdryer, fun, toiletries, etc.). Breakfast and the restaurant are very good, as always. On the first floor the temperature was crazy warm, I had to open the window for 2 hours before to be able to sleep. Internet connection issues, the actual wi-fi is fast, the problem is all my devices were constantly loosing connection.

Nice room, but no aircon. There was a ceiling fan directly above the bed - but the room was stuffy and hot. Didn't want to sleep in a ground floor room with patio doors open. In the middle of summer, wouldn't expect to have a 10.5 tog quilt on the bed.

No AC meant a stuffy and musty room

Hollies is a hidden gem tucked away in a small village, great rooms and friendly and helpful staff

Stayed in a cottage as hotel rooms were not available. Very spacious and nice property, maybe a bit cold on arrival as heating system wasn't on the previous days. I would stay here again.

arrival was like boarding the Marie Celeste. there was nobody at Reception. In fact, there was nobody at the hotel at all. I was greeted by a sheet of A4 on the wall in reception with my name on. It was a letter telling me that there was nobody on site and where I could find my room and that my room key was in the room. It was a seriously weird. The hotel dining room was not open so I made the rest of it and went out and bought some wonderful pizzas locally. My room, which was a suite was very comfortable and I had a good night's sleep. breakfast wasn't terribly dramatic. there was plenty of choice And the food and drink was of high standard.

Very nice small hotel in a charming English village. We ate at the restaurant both night we were there. The food was very good.

All staff were exceptional, all very friendly & so welcoming from start to finish . Its a very well run hotel which is clean and the rooms has everything you need, I would definitely go back & thoroughly recommend. Thanks Hollies Hotel we has the perfect weekend staying with you.

Although the staff were pleasant and it was clean and tidy. This hotel is very dated and could do with a refurbishment. The gym was very basic and had carpet and no floor space to do any workouts there. Nice food in the restaurant and attentive waiting and bar staff

Nice little hotel, rooms are in a fairly modern building behind the main building. Ample parking, extensive menu, good food, great service

Nice room, spacious, comfy bed, very clean including bathroom. Blissfully quiet at night. Good breakfast selection with prompt delivery of cooked food after choosing from menu. Would recommend. Many National Trust visits within striking distance.

Highly recommended! I will definitely return.
