Room value, service and booking was good. However the prepaid breakfast was extremely poor value, had limited choice with items running out and not heing refilled. I have been a regular customer of brunch at the hotel using their a la carte menu, which has always been good. However the prepaid breakfast as my.first time as a staying hotel guest was not the experience i expected. It did not warrant the £18 per guest i paid. Choices were limited, items were in short or no supply and poached eggs were undercooked and cold. It has spoilt my impression of the hotel and i hope they will find a way to recover my custom in the future.

Amenities can improve - no fridge, no table tissues, no iron :( No water dispenser or vending machine either - there’s only one corner shop in the village that closes at 3pm :(

Nice accommodation & surroundings.

We had the Chinese suite which was great for our family of 4 to stay in. What was disappointing was breakfast the next day. Coffees were cold, we had to chase as to where they were. Avocado eggs were black and did not taste very nice. I would never expect to be served black avocados in a restaurant. When we went to pay for our bill another table had been charged on top of ours which luckily we spotted. For the most busiest time of year there was a lack of staff, so the overall the experience was disappointing when you want a hassle free breakfast with young children. I hope this feedback is taken on board and rectified.

Room lovely warm and clean. Very friendly staff.

This was my second visit and I had warm and friendly welcome from. reception staff. The room was large with a comfortable bed and great shower and lots of choice on the tea and coffee tray. My only small complaint was that some of the dusting had been overlooked. There was thick dust around the TV, and on the lamps, but apart from that it was a really great room. The food in the restaurant was amazing, genuinely one of the best meals I have ever had, and the service was fantastic.

All very good. Nice spacious room and a good breakfast. Staff helpful and friendly in correcting a small problem with the safe. Plenty of adjacent parking in a nice village/town

We had a great stay at The Woburn, and very fortunate to enjoy an upgrade as we were there for a celebration. Everything was immaculately clean, and even though the outside temperature had dropped significantly the room and hotel itself was sufficiently warm. Highly recommend!

We stayed in a luxury suite and it was wonderful. A huge and very comfortable bed, seperate seating area, with great tea and coffee facilities. The bathroom was super clean with a rolltop bath and walk in shower. We had food in the restaurant in the evening and breakfast in the morning, and both were superb, with excellent service. I will definitely stay again.

Fire alarm went off 3 times, no communication from staff, whether false alarm Bath taps difficult to use, very poor

Studio room very clean and spacious would recommend.

The room we booked (a cottage) was not offered to us due to an overbooking and we were given a significantly sub-standard room (an executive suite) for what we paid for. The room we had was significantly smaller, overlooked a roof, we could hear the bar from downstairs, there were stains on the carpet, to name but a few grievances. We were told of the change a day before our arrival, meaning booking an alternative wouldn’t have been financially feasible. When asked for a discount, we were told it wasn’t an option. We will not be staying here again.
