We had a great stay, with clear communication sent in advance explaining check in. The check in was straightforward with no fuss. The room was clean and cosy. The hostel is in a great location. Will definitely be staying here again.

The hostel is in a really convenient part of Llangollen and is a lovely house with great additional facilities, like a kitchen and lounge. Jamie is a really excellent host and made sure to check in with us that everything was ok - he couldn't have been more helpful.

Absolutely wonderful hostel. It met all our needs: good shower, nice beds, clean, towels for hire, kitchen where you could cook your own meals. Wonderful support and location.

Llangollen is a great place. It is so picturesque. Jamie was very accommodating and available at any time. A very well stocked large kitchen was available with a fridge.

Lovely stay here. The staff are so helpful and shared local knowledge about walks or attractions or pronunciations (as I'm not Welsh). Room and bathroom were nice and clean and the kitchen area was big and had everything handy. It wasn't too noisey either despite being in the town centre next to a carpark. Hope to return.

This is one f great independent hostels that knows its customer base - provides everything one needs for a comfortable stay in a town spoilt for choice for eating out or preparing your own food in a well stocked kitchen

I had a good size en suite room for my stay. It is basic, but comfortable, and there is a nice communal kitchen space. It is a good central location in Llangollen, and reasonable priced. Unfortunately there was a bit too much road noise.

Had a great stay on a cycling holiday,lots of hills around hostel was very clean and amazing showers!!!

I stayed here for 3 nights in early November. Don't let the word Hostel put you off. Yes, it isn't a luxury hotel, but it isn't luxury hotel prices either. The staff are lovely and so helpful and chatty. Everything is clean and there is all you need for a comfortable and cosy base. The parking is convenient and cheap for the location. Llangollen is beautiful and this is a great place to stay when you visit. We didn't have time to make use of the lounge, but it looked really comfy and cosy. We had a room each, with comfortable beds and tea/coffee makings. Nice views too. Would definitely stay again!!!

Of 13 venues we stayed in this was one of our top 3. Unique. Were we staying longer we could have made better use of it.

There was some confusion about whether a continental breakfast was included. I had seen in some of the information provided that it was, but on speaking to the owner that this wasn’t the case. The hostel was very clean and very warm. We found the parking permit inside, which was helpful. It wasn’t the cheapest stay, as two rooms were available for our use, a twin and a double but we didn’t need the twin.

Great value for money. In one of the most beautiful towns. Only problem was the steps up to the top bunk - they were very narrow. Must be small and very agile to climb them. Otherwise everything was great.

Very good location in the middle of town. Opposite a supermarket and easy parking out the back. Great loungeroom to settle in to play a game of cards. Easy breaky. Very friendly and helpful staff. Easy for a family of 5 with primary aged kids. No issues across the board, even booking was easy.
