We really enjoyed our two nights stay in this very charming guest house. Our room was clean and our bed was super comfy. The owner was very pleasant and made us feel very welcome in her home.

This is a quaint little place, convenient for a quick no frills overnight stay. The car park had travelling contractors vans in it in the early evening and all gone before breakfast that starts at 8am. Breakfast is prepared to order, cereal and full English that was very nice.

We were visiting family in Lifton ,Launceston and the surrounding area and had not visited this guest house before,but will certainly go back again. The house is spotless and beautifully maintained and breakfast is straight forward and well presented a great way to start the day. The host's are lovely people,what more can I say.

This was one of the best stays I have had anywhere. The service is excellent most of all and everything about the place is all you need.

Stayed for one night while attending a Christmas party at a nearby farm shop. Suzanne was very welcoming when we arrived showing us where everything was. The cottage was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The rooms were clean, warm and welcoming with everything you needed, breakfast was delicious and we would highly recommend this little gem of a place.

Lovely one night stay as part of a road trip down to Cornwall. The host was lovely and friendly and made us welcome. The room was comfortable and quiet and we slept well. Delicious cooked breakfast in the morning. Ideally I’d have liked a bigger bath sheet that could wrap round me after a shower but for a short stay it was perfectly fine.

2nd stay here, lovely hosts, comfy room, great wi-fi, superb breakfast.

The lovely couple who run the inn did a great job keeping the charm of the old building while providing all the modern conveniences one would appreciate in a hotel. The breakfast was fresh and made to order. We needed extra water as we could not find any to purchase on our day of cycling to the town. It was Sunday and everything was closed. They were so very generous with the number of bottles they gave us. There was a secure place to store our bikes. I would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful building with much character.

Lovely place to stay, the owners couldn’t have been more nice, the bed was comfy, everything was so clean, and the breakfast was really nice. Would highly recommend.

Great stay, perfect host

This is the perfect guest house, located 1mile from the A30 and only 2miles from the Cornish border. Very central to many locations. The Guesthouse was secure with a key to enter the front door and a different key for your room. My room was very spacious as was the shower room. The breakfast is made to order - with a selection of juices,tea & coffee, cereals, toast and cooked breakfast all served in a breakfast room by Suzanne with a smile. very attentive and kind. Very clean guest house. Suzanne truly cares that your stay goes well. I will be returning.

If you need to stay in the area the Tinhay Mill Guest House is a gem and should definitely be considered. The owners are lovely and friendly and the breakfast is definitely worth having. The rooms are clean and tidy, everything works as it should and the parking feels very secure. We loved it and if we were in the area again we would definitely stay again.

Absolutely delightful place to stay. The hostess was the best one of our entire 2 week road trip.
