The Inn is well situated in the village of Grassington. Plenty of places to eat lunch and dinner, although most stop serving food at 8pm which unfortunately was when we arrived (but the tapas bar and restaurant was EXCELLENT! And served until 8:45). Staff were very pleasant and the garden was beautiful. Yorkshire Dales visitor center is a short walk down the hill with lots of hiking options. Scenery is beyond fabulous.

What a beautiful gem of a hotel. We were lucky to stay in the garden suite which was absolutely lovely. We loved sitting in the garden that evening. This property is meticulously cared for and there are small touches everywhere that make you feel truly special. Also, the town of Grassington is darling with so many cute shops and pubs. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Excellent stay. Lovely warm welcome. Everywhere clean and and well equipped. The breakfast is cooked to order. So tasty, excellent choice and very filling. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Shops and restaurants, coffee shops and gift shops 2 minutes walk away. Free parking at the hotel.

Just had the most magical stay at Ashfield House, we stayed in the Garden Suite which was perfect in every way! Cannot recommend this place enough, thank you for a fantastic stay

Stephen and Lynne were most helpful when we found our car had a flat, filling the tire and directing us to a nearby repair shop. Breakfast was excellent and featured a nice selection. Service from the staff was excellent. Everyone very friendly and helpful. Beautiful surroundings as well and easy walking distance to restaurants, coffee, bakery and ice cream treats!

We had a fantastic stay in a stunning location. The room was small but comfortable. The shower was excellent. Great tea and coffee making facilities with easy access to additional tea and coffee. Beautiful cottage garden with seating areas. The breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice and all food freshly cooked to order. Less than a minutes walk to the main square in Grassington with easy access to a choice of pubs, restaurants and cafes. Lovely walks close by.

Amazing place to stay! This is the third time we have stayed here, you are always made to feel welcome. The hotel is right in the heart of Grassington, where there are great walks and restaurants on the doorstep. We would highly recommend it.

Grassington is a really picturesque village, the property is right in the heart of the village, good pubs etc. We had 2 full days and did long walks along the River Wharfe each day - beautiful countryside. Comfort, condition & eco are all rated high considering the property is apprx 400 years old. The breakfast is top notch whatever your diet, and lots of it! One caveat - the driveway is very narrow with stone walls - a big car could be a problem.
