Great view and service

I love how close restaurants, Point Pelee and the lake are to the hotel. Accessible and right next to the ferry to Point Pelee Island.

One must remember this is an older facility and with that goes the charm. Do not expect what you might at a brand new place. But the charm and friendliness and comfort more then made up for the lack of “new”!

Everything was excellent except for the shower.

Only complaint. Mattress could be better. 3rd year in a row we come to this spot for a weekend.

What a lovely location so close to the water! Nice to stay at a hotel that has a character instead of the usual as well.

Lovely old hotel, lots of history. Staff was very responsive. TV wasn’t working in our room. No way to make it work. They moved us to an absolutely wonderful room. Very happy with our experience.

View on the lake was great, if you were outside. Was disappointed in the Inn. Pillows were very uncomfortable, view we got on our ground floor room was awful.Didn't appreciate the parking lot view. The front staff really didn't explain where everything was, eg, the ice machine, where to leave the key when we checked out, Also the entrance from the Inn to the restaurant was locked when we tried to go in around 10:00pm for a cocktail.

Fantastic location & view. Staff polite& helpful. Property itself needs a lift - old & dull. Room large but bedding did not look really fresh & ironed . Housekeeping poor.

My wife andvI had never been on vacation since she arrived here 4 years ago. All we have done is work. We decided to go to Pt Pelee because it was close to home. I saw your hotel online and didnt want to go to a hotel chain. Just a small, quint hotel. There is no elevator and the rooms are clean, but not deluxe. It was just the fact that we were getting away from it all. This place was perfect. It is conveniently located near the marina and the ferries to Pelee island. We had a great time and slept comfortably in an absolutely quiet place. Thank you for the hospitality.

Right on the beach with beautiful views and a fantastic restaurant downstairs. Loved the vibe of the place and the rooms.

We knew it didn’t have an elevator or coffee maker in the room, but the room service was unacceptable; they didn’t swept even thought the room needed it, we couldn’t adjust the thermometer, the towels were ripped and stained. For 3 days it seemed like we were the only guests at the hotel.

Check in was easy, staff was very friendly and welcoming. The waterfront location is beautiful. Lovely waterfront trails.

The hallways and staircase the carpets were worn and should be replaced. TV did not work offered an other room but would not replace the tv.

My family and I stayed over the weekend to attend a wedding. We booked a queen room and on Expedia's pictures they showed a couch. Unfortunately, there wasn't one in the room. Luckily the property manager came down at 11:00 PM to help rectify the situation and got us into a room with two queen beds. Very friendly and accommodating staff. My only complaint is that the road is quite noisy on the weekends at least and the restaurant/bar that is attached is also noisy. Otherwise its a great place to stay.
