The Spa was excellent. Girls were lovely and well trained. The only criticism I have is the Hotel is not geared up for Solo’s. I am widowed, have visited before with my husband and have fond memories of a happy time. This time I stayed for a week on my own. On arrival there was a bottle of Prosecco in the room, with a note addressed to me. They had left two glasses which made me feel sad. There was never a table laid for one person . Each time I was led to a table it was always laid for at least two. I think a little more thought could go into where they place single people.

A very enjoyable 3 night stay at Carey’s Mānor Brockenhurst whilst my husband took part in a New Forest Bike Ride. We have stayed here before& have always had a pleasant time. Staff are very friendly & the hotel is very well placed for walking the surrounding forest areas. The spa at the hotel is also an additional plus which can be used free of charge if you are staying at the hotel although you have to pay extra if you have a massage etc - swimming pool & sauna etc are free

Great great food, ate in both the Zen and Cambria restaurants. My partner loved the massage that she received. Helpful and friendly staff. A real gem of a place. Hopefully, at some point, they can open up the yoga to hotel residents.

The pool, sauna closed at 8pm. This is too early to enjoy after dinner. Extended hours would accommodate more use. Often, there was no staff at the front desk while guest waited for check in or check out. Suzy was the most consistent and available staff at the desk. Excellent interpersonal skills.

The rooms were outdated, especially the bathroom. Bed was comfortable, nice gym and pool. Breakfast was expensive for hot food. I would not recommend as a VIP property and the cost is high for what you get.

Great stay will certainly return a little disappointing about breakfast but restaurants excellent. All staff helpful and courteous.

The property is in need of some love. No AC in any rooms. The property feels old and dated. The spa area and facilities felt old, dark and dingy. The food options for breakfast were limited, and even the cooked food that you could order was average, absolutely 0 love going into the cooking. The overall quality of this hotel is more like a 3 star trying to be a 4 star. With a bit of investment and care, I think it could be a beautiful place. Until then, it’s stuck in the year 2000 and needs modernising.

Ice looking hotel and staff very good esp reception, hotel bit dated and rooms the same over priced even the pool area is a bit dated , no air cond in rooms and they were mega hot , also first room we had the bathroom floor was dangerously slippy they were good and moved our room . Could have been much better which was a shame

The First room we were shown was not as expected. Bed was not twinned. Second room was better but not as clean as it should have been. No time left to enjoy the pool or jacuzzi. Bed very comfortable, breakfast ok

It was a lovely stay but sadly no milk in the room which is fine but I like a nice coffee and shame no chill but still nice.

It was fantastic

Hotel is in a perfect location and walkable to some excellent local restaurants. Spa facilities were really lovely. For the amount paid I did expect a better room and bathroom facilities as these were looking a bit tired. I was a little surprised to have to pay extra for any hot breakfast choices ( this was in our booking terms but I’d not read the details in full, my miss). The continental buffet was very fresh and well stocked. Whilst we enjoyed our stay I did expect a bit better quality room for the cost.

We decided to stay for one night at this hotel and tbh it was distinctly average for the money. The main part that really let the stay down was the Cambium Restaurant with the food just being terrible. My partner ordered the mussels and when they arrived they were off and the small was rancid. The venue for the restaurant was essentially a repurposed event room and as such there was zero mood/atmosphere with the staff wandering around all looking completely as if they didn’t want to be there. The best part of this hotel was the Spa…but it does need a little updating as all the rooms were a little tired (mosaic tiles coming off the floor/walls and rattling air conditioning units in the treatment room) Lovely location though and very close to the new forest for walks and bike rides. Wouldn’t stay at this hotel again

Beautiful wooden panels in reception and main staircase. Beautiful area. Very friendly and helpful staff. Massage and spa facilities were good. We had a massage and paid extra to use the spa. The only downfall was an uncomfortable bed.

The staff were lovely, only small issue lied in the layout of the room with there being no plugs by the bed unless you dive under the mattress which was near impossible, and no holder for the soap or toilet roll, these are small quality of life changes which could be fixed super easily! Other than that, the room was lovely with a gorgeous garden view and we were made to feel very welcome, really recommend the spa facilities
