Breakfast was perfect, homemade sausages and preserves. Room was clean and tidy. Parking was excellent with a small additional cost. Very close to town and supermarket.

Nice guesthouse with very friendly hosts. Breakfast was really nice. Would have been 5 star, but they didn’t answer our phone calls or messages before arrival. Also, room decoration is starting to get a little dated and tired.

Beautiful family run guest house in the heart of the town , I was made to feel so welcome and the breakfast was delicious, comfy bed and tv and nice clean bathroom , will definitely stay again when passing through !

The hosts at the Angel were assiduous in contacting me before I arrived and attended to all my requirements once I found them. I had a very comfortable and convenient overnight stay at short notice and immediately prior to New Year - breaking my long journey from the south east to Penzance. It is always interesting to experience what one receives from something billed at the lower end of the price range. This property was adequate in the sense that it provided a bed, shower and reasonable breakfast. However, it is not a property that one would recommend to anyone, beyond someone purely wishing a place to lay one's head for the night. The overriding adjectives to describe it would be - basic but adequate.

Owner and other staff were very welcoming and informative. Breakfast was lovely and set me up for the day.

Very good hosts. Our room (No. 7) was very small, carpet was dirty with stains, wallpaper peeling off wall, paintwork chipped, etc. All a bit tired.

Ideal for what we needed. Owners friendly and accommodating. Room clean. Close to wetherspoons and a good curry house. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choices

Ich war sehr froh das die Betten bezogen waren und Handtücher zur Verfügung standen. Zimmerreinigung zwischendurch gab es nicht wegen Coronavorsichtsmaßnahmen. Sehr gutes englisches Frühstück und was ich daran besonders schätzte war die Vegetarische Variante. Lecker sind die Marmeladen.
