Good comfortable hotel way good restaurant

Food was superb, beautiful hotel, lovely old English feel. Lady from Orlando on check-in was great.

Good size room, very friendly staff, good food and service in the restaurant. Well done to all concerned.

Room was noisy (probably to do with the connecting door to next room). Water pressure in shower was weak. WiFi did not work in room.

the breakfast wasn't the best to be honest. my smoked salmon beneath a lovely egg was not fresh and was browning at the edges.

lovely surroundings, spacious, clean room, friendly, helpful staff, variety of options for breakfast and plenty of parking. Would stay again.

Lovely old building but well maintained and set in picturesque garden. I can why it was a popular venue for weddings. Had a lovely massage and can't thank Poppy enough as very attentive and you could see she enjoyed her wirk 🙏❤️

A really lovely 4 night stay. The staff were excellent throughout and coped exceptionally well during a 3 hour power outage. My only, and minor, adverse comment is that a parking space was difficult to find at times.

We stayed in room 110, a superior dog friendly room. It was absolutely wonderful. Lots of room, a massive bed, ensuite bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities, TV, couple of lovely armchairs and a small table. It was incredibly quiet too! The parking was easy as the car park is vast (there are a few large potholes which need tending to!) What makes this hotel are the staff. Every single one of them had a smile on their face and a cheery hello whenever they saw you. I can't say enough nice things about this place. Thank you for a wonderful, relaxing stay.

Had a lovely stay, staff were all polite and helpful. Dinner in the restaurant was lovely piping hot and delicious. Bed was comfy, room was clean abd nicely decorated. Followed by good breakfast the following morning. What more could you ask for.

Lovely and comfortable rooms

Wow what a place, clean modern and quiet rooms and the breakfast was fantastic. Convenient for a stop along the M5 if required.

Room was beautiful and exceptionally clean. Bed was far too soft, and not enough pillows. Food was fab and serving staff very attentive, but the service charge added to our final bill was excessive. We didn’t get to take advantage of the grounds as the weather was very wet and the spa was only treatment rooms, no sauna, steam room or hot tub as advertised on Hotels.com
