The staff were excellent friendly and helpful. The room was perfectly comfortable and very clean. The busy road outside was a bit noisy when we are used to quiet at night so needed getting used to. Breakfast and evening meals were good. Excellent value

We had a very good stay-an excellent welcome and the food was great. We had all we needed. Felt you could hear lots of creaking from above which was the only problem to our stay. Also a bin in bathroom be good.

Very smooth check in nice room , food was very nice especially the apple crumble best I have ever had .

A lovely proper pub, offering accommodation. No need to worry the locals are friendly! Good location, breakfast was excellent.

Interesting stay at the Wheatsheaf. Had a single room with a few unusual quirks like a green nightlight that was permanently on and a bath that you could only sit in for a shower/wash. One to remember. Pleasant staff, great breakfast.

Great place to stay. We were going to a concert In Brighton and this was an ideal place to stay. Staff were helpful about local area, amenities and getting to and from Brighton. Room is simple but perfect for what we needed. Breakfast the next morning was absolutely delicious. Plenty of choice, happy to accommodate special dietary requirements. Highly recommend.

Pub with rooms, ground floor room but somewhat noisey from road. Room locks somewhat awkward to operate. would duggest change of locks.

This is an English Pub,no pretence is made or implied to be a Gastro-Pub.Just a good honest pub.Clean,hospitable,polite and importantly dog loving.In short an establishment that does exactly what it says on the box.Totally authentic,bravo.

Lovely staff and good pub. Room was very basic and tired. The bed was lumpy and hard. The room was clean however. Just needs a few updates.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Wheatsheaf Inn. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff were fantastic, friendly and helpful. We spent quite a lot of time at the pub/restaurant, and enjoyed excellent food and beverages.

The staff where lovely and cery helpful. The only issue i had being in room 7 was the noise ....it sounded like a generator going all night ...maybe it was the heating anyway my sleep wasnt great. Other than that it was a good stay :)

The room was a fair size. It was rather hot but you can turn the radiator off. It is on a main road and there is a lot of traffic noise. But it is nice and clean and the staff are helpful. They did us bacon sandwiches to go instead of having to sit down for breakfast.

We used the Wheatsheaf in order to meet family and friends.The staff were very helpful getting us settled in our room which was very tidy and clean and comfy.All in all it was a lovely stay.My wife and I look forward to doing it again sometime.Thank you Wheatsheaf.
