We stayed here for one night whilst walking the Sandstone Trail. It is just off the trail (about 0.5km). It is a beautiful hotel with amazing views. The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was included and was delicious. We also dined in the evening and the food was lovely. Highly recommended.

The Pheasant Inn was fantastic - as were the rooms / staff / views etc. Don't be put off by the remoteness (it is remote) but the place is fabulous if all you want to do is eat, drink and relax. There are places nearby like Beeston Castle and the like - but nothing in walking distance.

The good - Lovely location. Clean room. Good service and atmosphere. The not so good - Some dinner items not available. No eggs available for breakfast which was a new and bizarre one for me given that they are in Cheshire and surrounded by farms!

Location / location etc. Very clean and as always very well furnished room . Would have preferred Tatton , but it's always booked . Staff excellent , shame the 'Pheasant Golden Ale' is no longer available . Even in wet grey weather , it's a great place to stay .

A superb night away from home in a beautiful area. The Pheasant is immaculately maintained. The rooms are stylish and scrupulously clean. The restaurants, again, are beautifully decorated and the food is perfect. Staff are all friendly, polite and generally lovely. I can’t recommend this place too highly.

This is certainly not a place you will stumble across on your way to somewhere else, but it's certainly worth a visit. A great boutique hotel with comfortable and interesting rooms. Great surroundings and wonderful view across the Wirral. A menu which is significantly more interesting than the standard 'pub menu'. The prawn pil pil was particularly tasty. And if you're into non-meat meals, the pithivier is well worth a try. Very tasty breakfast too. We'll definitely be back!

What a lovely place to stay!! We were attending the out door cinema experience near by and used the inn as our stop over!! Well worth the money, room was great and food was something else, would definitely stay again 👍
