Room 9 is where i stayed, nobody should stay in this room until you update it, broken tile and loose floor tile, outdoor table in chairs that where painted. Desk chair, rollers on it that dont roll, tv way to small for room. IF your going to charge that amount for this room, you need to upgrade. I wont be back!

Perfect for small family’s loved it

It was a quiet little hotel with a pool. We liked it.

Clean inside and throughout the property. The bed was okay, and there was a decent outdoor breakfast space with nice breakfast options. The swimming pool and the next-door restaurant serving traditional American cuisine provided additional comfort. Located next to a busy road, but with quick access to the beach area. I was satisfied with my stay there.

It was a good stop, clean, not crowded, safe, easy access.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, free Hulu, no frills but everything you need for a nice visit.

We stayed here on a whim last year and love it- inviting and clean, reasonable prices, close to trolley stops for easy access to beach and restaurants- free bikes and kayaks.

The place is well located and the staff is very friendly and willing. But unfortunately I will not stay there again. The room had a very strong stench, smelled like mold and even though I left it open then asked them to spray it, the smell didn’t go away. The AC units are Jurassic, and I could see from the outside that they were also dirty, with that, the air in room did not circulate evenly so one side was too cold the other side was muggy (I had a double bedroom suite). I am not sick, not sure if because of the smell or the AC.

Contractor says fix your AC your Jacuzzi paint everything else that needs to be fixed. The outlets are in good shape no electrical problems but there’s a crack in the hot tub and your AC needs to be fixed. Just buy a new condenser and be done with it. I don’t like cheap people fix it or stop running the unit that doesn’t have AC.

This place is amazing to stay

This was a weird hotel. Fun in a way, but had a bad smell and everything felt like it had seen better days. We chose this hotel because you could rent bicycles and other things and because it is close to Sanibel. We only tried the bicycles. You can go to the beach with them, but not much other things to ride to in the area. The staff had no suggestions. Some of the bicycles were in poor condition. Breakfast was not the best, pretty much cakes and bagels. Pool really deep, not suitable for young children who can’t swim. Had some pool toys, but some had seen better days and others you had to inflate yourself. Umbrellas flew off during sudden winds and almost hit the kids in the pool. The sofabed was a joke, it was like sleeping on a hill. Felt like we were going to step through the upstairs floor at one place in particular. Had a moldy smell that sat in our clothes and things for a few days. Great kitchen, but they say they charge you for any missing items (hangers, knifes, forks etc) without telling you how many there should be in the first place. It was a place you are closer to nature than other hotels though, so it might still be worth it. I think it was too pricey for what we got.
