Will always look for this place when coming back to Byron! Spacious, clean, comfortable room. Feels exactly how I want a beach motel to feel - plus it has a pool and direct access to the beach via a private path. Seriously everything I want and look for

Room was pretty dirty, but staff was very responsive. Having easy, fairly private beach access was very wonderful. Great location, short walk to downtown without being IN downtown.

The motel is pretty dated but the location is amazing. And the room was so clean I couldnt complain about the motel looking like something out of the 80s. The pool is nice and warm. The internet was fast. Very easy walk to town and there's beach access behind the property. Air conditioning works really well too. My back despised the mattresses-I tried all 3 in the room, but if you have a good, healthy back, you'll probably survive...

Clean room with good facilities. Staff were excellent and very helpful even providing umbrellas for use on the beach. Location is fantastic just a short 5 minute walk to main beach. 100% would stay again.

This motel was brilliant. It was so quiet, in such a convenient location, 3 minute walk to Main Street, 60 second walk to the beach, and the staff were super lovely. We really enjoyed our stay here and felt that all the amenities provided were great as well.

Das Zimmer war genau wie beschrieben. Küche und Bad teilweise schon in die Jahre gekommen. Aber dafür für Byron Bay sehr bezahlbar. Der Manager Andy ist supernett und immer ansprechbar, wenn man Fragen hat. Auch Tanya an der Rezeption ist sehr nett. Man kann jederzeit kostenlos Kaffee und Tee und Strandhandtücher holen. Sogar kleine Sonnenschirme für den Strand gibt es kostenlos zu leihen. Das absolute Highlight ist die Lage: 3 Minuten zum wunderschönen Strand, 7 Minuten ins Zentrum von Byron Bay. Wenn man Wert auf Sauberkeit legt und keine luxuriösen Ansprüche hat, ist das Wollongbar Motel eine Überlegung wert. Ich werde gerne wiederkommen 😊

Great location. Motel is basic but it was perfect for a couple of days at the beach. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. Beach access was amazing!
