What other reviews said is true. Pool has mold all over wall and corners. The hot tub is even worst. Room towels stained, spring box of the bed with blood stain. Shower did not work 3 drops of water, . It is true. Wifi work well for me during my stay.

We arrived at night and it was a little confusing to find the hotel. There are no signs pointing to the hotel and it’s hidden from the road. I love that security was always at the gate and was very vigilant. We went late September and it was nice having most of the hotel to ourselves. Service was great!! The wait staff was too notch. Very accommodating and attentive. They were a good time. The pool was nice. Lounge chairs and full service. The swim up bar could use some TLC but still got the job done. There is an amazing gazebo over look the ocean and beaches. Breath taking views from the restaurant, balcony, and pool. The food was delicious. Cooked to order breakfast. I also had a shrimp cocktail that was to die for. Drinks were amazing as well. Fresh frozen fruit was used in my pina colodas and strawberry daiquiris. Yuuummm. My husband and I got a couples massage and loved it. The tables were close to the ocean so the waves crashing added a nice touch. Very clean. The mopped our room everyday and it always smelled and looked great after room service. My only negative comments would be the bed was very stiff and the shower wasn’t great.

Terrible el peor de los lugares súper sucio

We only stayed one night at the Dunama, but would definitely return. The setting is absolutely breathtaking!! The staff was amazing, specially the bartender Dillon. Only complaint is the cleanliness. Certain areas need a good deep clean and new linens/towels.

The room smelled a little damp. The bathroom was slimy. The pool was moldy. The breakfast was a very small portion, but it tasted good. My family and I were informed by the staff that it was only one drink per person and no refill… My room didn't have a hairdryer. The facilities were very nice with mageatic view. The hotel very well located, and had a very nice and private beach access. The grass could have been better maintained.

The service at Dunama hotel was spectacular the view is breath taking and the private beach is absolutely gorgeous.

Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Roads nearby were very usable even though it was the wet season. There is a very nice black sand beach a short walk from the hotel (though the stairs a bit treacherous).

Tuvimos que esperar hasta las 4 pm para que nos dieran las habitaciones ya que no estaban disponibles, pagué habitaciones con terraza y esas no fueron las que me dieron. El personal es muy amable y la comida de buen gusto con precios accesibles. Vista espectacular!! Lo mejor del hotel: vista al océano

Please do NOT stay at this place, does not look like the photos at all. Pillows were yellow, the first room was so dirty, they moved us to a different one that smelled like bleach but was in terrible conditions as well. 🚩 signs all over the property “no refunds” Also Expedia was not helpful at all.

I thought the people were absoluetley amazing. They could use to get new linens they had seen better days. The food was wonderful. All in all we are all glad we stayed there.

A notre arrivee la receptioniste ne parle qu'en espagnol. On lui pose une question et nous repond a peu pres n'importe quoi. On a du demander une autre chambre, car elle etait sale des insectes morts partout sur le plancher. Les toilettes sales. La poignee de porte ne tenais que de peur on voyais tres bien que la porte avait ete brisee au niveau de la serrure le bois etait craqué. On noue en redonne une 2e un peu moins sale je dirais potable. Fait important il n'y a pas d'ascenseur alors il a fallu descendre les bagahes de 4 étages et les remonter de 2. La pluspart des installation sont endomagees. Ils font de la fausse publicite car ils se nomment Dunama hotel casino.... pas de casino ou le moindre signe de table de jeu! Le déjeuner inclus est moins que passable et un seul brevage est invlus meme pas de rechaus de café. Si tu veux jus et café on te vharge 5$ US meme chose pour le revhaud de café. Ca a ete yout simplement un cauchemar de 3 jours. Je n'ai jamais été si heureux de quitter un hotel de ma vie.

The hotel needs cleaning. The pool needs deep cleaning, there is green algae in the pool. The garden room’s view it is the view of dry grass and dirt. The garden view rooms are four floors down and there is not elevator. There were dry leaves on the stairs and hallways. The beach is far from the hotel. There are many steps to climb.

Hotel is OK. Pool was a little dirty. Breakfast is small but tasty.
