Staff not very friendly but good experience.

We booked two bedrooms & 2 bathrooms apartment, it is clearly smaller than what it advertised, one for the bathroom smells so bad, reported , but no one came to do anything. We are very busy with competition etc, didn’t bother to change, only used one of the bathroom . Check in receptionist was very rude . One of the bedroom got water leaked in due to stormy weather. Although it was closed all the time . So glad it came to end of our stay . We moved to close by hotel Flag , which was like heaven . Comparing to this old dated and smelly room.

Really enjoyed our stay, good value for money.

The kitchen was super easy to use and they had almost everything you would need to cook a great meal. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful and the facilities were extremely clean. The room was super nice and we had no issues the entire stay. I would 100% recommend the Royal Marbella Golf Resort to anyone going to this area of Spain.

The venue itself and apartments were great. Very modern, clean and comfortable. Unfortunately we hadn't done our research before booking. The fact that it is called Royal Marbella golf resort is misleading as it is miles away, from Marbella. In fact it is miles away from anywhere including shops and public transport so if you dont intend hiring a car I dont book. Also there are no facilities on site. No shop, no bar, no restaurant. Probably our fault for not checking these things beforehand so unless you are simply looking to spend all your time in the local golf courses I wouldnt recommend this venue at all.

Es war alles super, die Umgebung toll, die Anlage schön und die Zimmer sauber. Man benötigt allerdings einen Mietwagen um an die Strände und in die Stadt zu fahren.

L’hotel è molto bello ma le pulizie vengono fatte ogni tre giorni nella stanza e il parcheggio non è incluso se volete parcheggiare all’interno dovete pagare 10€ al giorno

Instalaciones mediocres y poca oferta tanto dentro del complejo como fuera. No puedes ir allí sin coche. Servicios extra del complejo muy limitados. Plazas de garaje complicadas para acceder, fuera no se puede aparcar.

Terrible the apartment smells and construction nearby noisy the neighbors were noisy the lift not working I report to change the flat no response

Fantastisk lejlighed med udsigt til pool. Lækkert køkken og badeværelser, gode senge. Venligt personale - hotellet fremstår rent og pænt. Ærgerligt der ikke er en lille restaurant eller en poolbar, så havde det været helt perfekt

The property itself is in a fantastic location, especially if you’re looking to enjoy a peaceful, scenic area with access to great golf and nearby attractions. The rooms were spacious, clean, and relatively newly updated, which made for a comfortable stay overall. Unfortunately, my experience with the front desk left a sour impression. I called around 1 PM on the day of arrival to see if there was any possibility of checking in early, as many hotels are happy to accommodate guests if rooms are ready. Instead of a polite response, I was met with rudeness. The woman who answered the phone asked for my name and then sharply said, “I just told you check-in isn’t until 4,” without any courtesy or professionalism. When we arrived, we were initially greeted by a kind gentleman at the front desk, which quickly changed once the same woman I had spoken with earlier jumped into the interaction. She asked for all of our passports, which I provided—except for one of my friends who is a resident of Spain and only had her ID. As I tried to explain, the woman repeatedly talked over me and was unnecessarily rude, creating an uncomfortable and unwelcoming atmosphere after hours of travel (we flew in from Miami). Thankfully, the manager, eventually stepped in and helped us sort everything out smoothly. I truly appreciated her professionalism and willingness to resolve the issue. Overall, while the accommodations and location were great except for front desk encounter.

Lägenheten var rymlig och fräsch. Köket var välutrustat. Parkeringsmöjligheter är mycket begränsade i området. Det finns garage under hotellet som kostar ca 10€/natt. Det var automatiskt avläsning av reg.nummret som inte fungerade hela tiden. Men det problemet var överallt i Marbella för oss som hade svensk regnummer. Hotellet ligger dock på en kulle med slingriga vägar utan belysning. Man måste ha tillgång till en bil för att kunna ta sig till och från hotellet. Omöjligt att ta en promenad i området som är jättefint. Trevlig och tillmötesgående personal och många av de kunde engelska.

Overall a good stay. Room was lovely, spacious and clean. There is no cafe, restaurant on site or in walking distance so you will need a car or get a taxi to shops. Our first room air con has broken and smelt quite badly but we were quickly moved to another room. Be aware do not park on the road outside, we were advised it was ok by a security guard but got a ticket!
