Nice staff, clean rooms, easy access and parking

Booked myself and my black Labrador in for 3 nights. Spacious room, nice decor and very clean. Comfy bed with plenty of pillows. The full English breakfast was spot on with good quality items. (Thank you Ben). All the staff were engaging and very helpful. Great value for money! Would highly recommend this place and will definitely stay again should I be down that way again.

Like an American motel but with British pub and breakfast. Very comfortable and dog friendly.

Close to Blyton Park where we were going for the two days, beds a bit soft a few cobwebs in the corners up and down.

Wrong room booked by hotels.com. Staff on arrival unhelpful. Room has a badly stained sofa, dirty en suite floor. The room was in need of cleaning and a little tlc eg the paint on the head board was VERY scratched.

Great comfortable rooms, fantastic staff, highly recommend having food in the pub, it is delicious!

We stayed here overnight for a friend’s 60th nearby. The area is quiet but we knew that already as we had visited with those friends on a number of occasions. It was close to Blyton’s Ice Cream with a vast array of delicious homemade ice creams to choose from, and a lovely little tea room around the corner called Tiffin’s. We managed a lovely walk around the village in sunshine too. Very enjoyable stay, lovely evening meal. The only downside (for us) was the overpowering smell of bleach in the room but, for one night it was manageable, and we at least knew the bathroom was spotlessly clean. Lovely hot shower. Room felt a little dark even with all the lamps on. Could do with a brighter bulb in the main room. Plenty of PowerPoints for charging.

Great place to stay. Parking for our motorbikes right out side the rooms. Food is amazing. Rooms are very nice with excellent shower ! Outside seating area, great beer and nice staff. Highly reccomended

For the price I was pleasantly surprised with the condition of this room. It was clean and spacious, with basic TV and tea/coffee facilities. Exactly what I was after.

Lovely pub with rooms. Room was a great size and really comfortable. Service was friendly and welcoming. Evening meal was typical pub food, tasty and filling, with an excellent pudding list :-)

Beautifully kept accommodation, clean quiet and reasonably priced with excellent facilities and large bedrooms. Dog friendly too. Thanks for a great stay, would thoroughly recommend.
