Desk attendant was awesome, upbeat personality. The room was just right for my family, my kids wanted to stay longer.

We arrived at night and the curtains were drawn so I didn't notice the window was open. It would have been a lot warmer if I had! Great location if you have an event to attend at Mangere Community Centre, which is next door. immaculately clean.

Good room and bed, renovated bathroom, aircon. FREE transport to and from airport. Friendly staff. We had to wait a little bit for the van to pick us up. Would recommend and stay again.

The motel was very affordable and has the added convenience of allowing to leave our car here while we went on our overseas holiday. Bed was comfortable and shower had great pressure.

We had a great experience at Airport Gold Star Motel. We had a great experience at Airport Gold Star Motel. The room was newly renovated, clean, and had a well-equipped kitchen. We had nothing to complain about it. The free 24-hour airport shuttle was a major plus, and the bus stop right across the street made getting to Auckland downtown easy. We also enjoyed visiting a nearby farmers market with fresh produce and street food. The staff, Tan, was incredibly helpful—he upgraded our room, gave us great local tips, and even picked us up from the car rental location after we returned our vehicle, and of course, drove us to the airport on our departure day—making our travel experience smooth and stress-free. We stayed here upon our arrival in Auckland and chose to return again for three nights at the end of our trip. We would definitely stay here again the next time we visit Auckland!

Great value for money - 7 of us fitted well in the 2 bedroom. Was clean. But it old and a little decrepit. Holes in net curtains. Lots of bumps and brusies around the place. Kitchen stuff is missing and has been cleaned by previous guests not cleaners and it shows. We aimed to cook but gave up. Kitchen is tiny. Laundry is only $2 for a wash and $2 for dryer. Very friendly staff which is why we have given it 3 star instead of 2. Carparking is VERY tight. Big utes etcs might struggle. Probably wouldnt stay again if we could afford something else.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Shuttle service was great! Rooms were a bit dated and basic, but very clean and convenient for layovers between flights. Only 5min to the airport.

Awful smell as soon as you walk in was going to book something else but since I was only there till 3am in the morning decided to stay. Couldnt wait to get out of there. The asian guy at reception I found hard to understand. Right next to mangrere community hall so had loud music playing till 8 pm. Would not recommend go somewhere else..
