Me gustó mucho estaba limpio y muy cerca de la playa

I loved the property. It didn't feel like just a hotel room. My only complaint is the misleading photos on the booking sites. I thought I was getting a family unit with 3 actual beds. What we got was a 2 bed with a pull out couch. When I pointed this out to the man at the front desk I was treated like I was stupid. The pictures and description show and state 3 real beds. Update your photos to show what you'll really be getting. It was still a great deal and am glad I picked the place. Just don't like being misled.

It’s ok

The hotel was very basic, but the location was fantastic.

I usually stay at a property up the street but I wanted to try something different. The blue wave is a part of Hollywood Beach Hotels, a string of properties owned by one management. The blue wave is one of the properties that needs a remodel. In the room was a very comfortable bed with clean linen. However, everything else was old and dirty. Walls haven’t been washed in a while. Basin sink gurgled and coughed up water constantly (I made management aware) and the outside area was pretty icky. The pool looks great until you get in and realize it hasn’t had some tic in a long time. The concrete needs a power wash. Check in was too swift, as in paper just keep getting tossed at me to sign…so fast I left my id at the desk. No please or thank you’s. Tuck shop in the office has a lot of stuff. I liked that. If I stay with HBH again I would try a property closer to the beach as I think those ones are taken care of a bit more meticulously. Thank you.

Need to clean better!

Walking to our room there were people openly using drugs. We had to walk by and felt unsafe. Room was old and a bit smelly. Didn’t help with people drinking, drugging and smoking right outside the room.

Little run down but only needed it for one night after flying in late so it worked.

Was fine. Nothing exceptional! Close to the beach! Could use some upgrades!

The check in was a terrible experience. We had to wait in a queue of several people and we lost our reservations for activities on the beach.

The people at the office were very helpful. The morning breakfast offered enough good choices. The pool was a plus. Motel was very close to the beach and boardwalk both of which are outstanding. The room was nice and clean. If you want maid service you need to request it. They supply beach towels. Microwave and fridge were a plus.

Check in was rather lengthy but front desk receptionist did give us an upgraded room which was sweet. Our room was clean and newly renovated. Be sure to have your parking passes visible in your vehicle. They tow vehicles quickly around the area if your not paying for parking. Location is great.

Ont m’a donner une chambre en arrivant insalubre, sentais le cannabis , des traces de saleté sur le cadre de porte d’entrée , aucune vaiselle il faut demander , plancher sale . J’ai fauté plainte à expedia et ont m’a changer de complexe et de chambre , mais je déconseille de réserver à cette endroit . Pour le prix payer c’est incroyablement terrible , personelle désagréable et aucun sourire . Je suis membre Or et j’ai jamais vue une place de même , désastreux La seul bonne chose c’est la plage à 100m car ils aurait fermer bien avant lol

The room was clean and almost on the beach. Very short walk to broadwalk.

I appreciated Wilson at checkin he made it easy for us but I feel like the check in at this place is out of control with huge lines and wait times for anything at this place. Painting the rooms and pressure washing would go a long way to make the place better. The location is close to the beach and that was the best quality.

There was no adequate cleaning service or change of towels and for the room I paid for it was terrible, I thought it would be better.

The lady at the breakfast is crazy and tries to scare everyone away, who’s trying to get just enough food from the table guarded by her.
