Good quiet room (even though on a busy road). Characterful building. Comfortable bed. View of the lake in the distance. Good breakfast. All together a very good place for a short stay in Lausanne.

Unique view to the Alps

I have no complaints. Of the 3 hotels I stayed in on this trip to Europe, this was by my favorite. I chose a lake view room and from My balcony I could see right over to Evian. Every staff member was beyond helpful from getting me in for dinner when I didn’t have a reservation to arranging an early morning taxi for me. They even indulged me practicing my terrible French with them. I plan on visiting Lausanne at least once a year to visit friends and I will always stay at De La Paix

They call a twin room a double room Trust me it’s two single beds made separately and pushed together. Because of this I hardly slept Also be aware of the expensive valet parking, it’s not very clear that it’s chargeable on the site.

Chambre impeccable avec vue et balcon. Etant en centre-ville, il faut s'attendre à être réveillé dès 6h30, près d'une école, donc sonneries et récréations régulières. Par contre, pour la courtoisie du personnel, à part un Monsieur très aimable, la jeune fille blonde qui nous a accueillis, a été assez sèche puis carrément moqueuse quand je lui ai mentionné notre statut VIP Hotel.com. Très vexante, nous en avons fait part à Hotel.com qui a super bien réagi en demandant que nous ayons la chambre jusqu'à 13h ! Grâce à ce geste, notre fin de séjour a été apprécié.

Room was clean. Staff was sufficiently helpful. The room lacked basic amnesties like a moisturiser or creamers for coffee.

Chambre spacieuse. Splendide vue sur le lac! Situation très centrale parfaite. Service voiturier apprécié.

Equipe gentil na recepção do check in, quarto confortável e localização excelente. Bom café da manhã. Sugeriria apenas que a televisão tivesse acesso a streaming. No mais, a estadia foi excelente, voltaria com certeza.

The room was spotless with a beautiful lake view! The staffs were very helpful. The location was great for the metro, train station, as well as shops and restaurants. I will definitely come back to this hotel!
