Place was immaculate, my fiancé was overly pleased with the cleanliness and overall appearance of the room. Including the makeup desk, which had a heat pad for straightners and curlers. Beds were comfy and clean, the host clearly take pride in what they do and keeping their guests comfortable throughout their stay. I’d happily stay again. I’d messaged the host prior to ensure my little one had a cot which was then provided with the room along with a blanket. Overall facilities within the room were great and meant we could have proper food for tea. Rather than a pot noodle. 10/10 thanks!

Fabulous stay - loved it! Breakfast hamper was absolutely wonderful, though we couldn’t eat it all. Plenty of parking. Key code entry gives more flexibility as to arrival times, which suited us as we were spending the day and having dinner with friends so didn’t arrive till late. Brilliant one night break, will return without a doubt, and have already recommended to friends.

Easy to find and easy to access, with everything you need for a short stay (microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, hairdryer, etc.). It's a straightforward drive to Ringwood town centre where there's ample parking at the Waitrose/Sainsbury's carparks, and the town has a number of cafes and bakeries. Also very close to Moors Valley County Park, which is a great wood and open space.

Excellent stay for our trip to The New Forest. The room was cosy, had everything that was needed from table n chairs, two comfy chairs, very comfy bed and pillows. Iron and board, towels, wash flannel, all wash/cleaning equipment, mini cooker, toaster, pint milk in fridge. Everything was perfect. I would say though that coyld have done with a better iron as it didn't seem to iron properly. Apart from that the stay was excellent. Would definately recommend.

Very clean, spacious, modern room for two. Lots of little nice touches, like there was a pint of fresh milk left in the fridge for us on arrival, disposable earplugs provided to block out your snoring partner/friend, extra bath towel in wardrobe just in case. Beautiful surroundings.

Good self contained unit. Well appointed kitchen, good shower room, comfortable bed, plenty of space. Recently redecorated and very clean. Would stay again.

The property is located in a secluded location with short drive from local amenities. We really liked the surroundings and it was easy to check-in. Would definitely stay at the place again and recommend to anyone looking for something different other than a typical stay at a hotel.

A lovely stay at Petherton Cottage. It was immaculate and a perfect size for a small family. Great location with lots of things to do nearby!

Lovely accommodation, clear entry instructions and everything we needed as a family really! Only drawback was the busy road outside.

Love the set up of the room and the breakfast hampers are genius no need to have to be upat a certain time. Great concept. Mattresses could probably do with updating as not the comfiest and certainly done its service to varuous weights and shapes.

It was a one night stay, we received instructions the day before on how to gain entry to the property via a keysafe, The room was very clean and tidy and had a small kitchenette that came in very handy, We had a lovely continental breakfast delivered warm to us in the morning, We had a really nice time

It was like a home from home. Lovely large room, very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious.

Really nice stay, nice, clean room, quiet and peaceful. The shower was extremely hot and wasn’t that easy to control and the kitchen area was very small but didn’t negatively impact our stay. Would definitely book again.
