Good spot, clean place.

Loved my stay here. Very close to the beach and to town. Clean, quiet and comfortable. I walked via the Cleveland Way trail to Robin Hood's Bay one day and took the bus back to Whitby. Fabulous four day stay here!

What a traveler needs more than anything is a clean accommodations, good shower, a super bed and a solid location.Loved all 4. A short walk to anywhere and BTW, the 199 steps to the top of the town were no big deal. Whitby is awesome!

Stayed 4 nights , very comfortable room , clean and very well equipped , Fan to cool you down , plenty of hot water , free parking with a card you are given The owner Bill was very friendly and helpful Quiet area

Great place to stay

Stayed in one of the attic rooms. Comfortable bed no problems sleeping. Parking was easy, permit ready to use in welcome pack, with clear instructions.

The property is well located and within easy walking distance to the beach and centre of Whitby. Bill was there on arrival to welcome us and had an information sheet for check in with the key being in a key safe. Parking was not ideal and had to drive around for @ 10 mins to find an on street parking place which was several streets away from the accommodation. The room was very clean but had to climb 4 flights of stairs as it was an attic room. The bathroom was so small that it made using it a challenge - It appeared to be a converted storage cupboard in the room, again very clean but the toilet was extremely noisy and we didn’t feel we could flush it in the night without waking other guests. Whilst we appreciate that it is an old building we could hear everything in the room next door from just walking to opening drawers and were conscious of other guests when going upstairs at night. The decor in the room was tired with inappropriate black & silver wall paper featuring basques, chains, handcuffs and whips which was a bit off putting. All that being said the bed was comfortable, tea and coffee provided and for the price was reasonable. - I don’t think we would stay there again.

Parking was simple, and the room was overall good to stay in! Would recommend

Facilities would be improved if there was communal areas to to use rather than just the use of a bedroom.

Setting up parking passes was easy. Self check in nice and clear. Room was clean and quiet. No complaints!
