Joli hôtel, joliment décoré, bon accueil. Parfaite étape !

Découverte de La Rochelle dans ce bel hôtel. Chambre spacieuse et calme. Hôtel avec beaucoup de style. Personnel aux petits soins. 2 grosses déceptions : la salle de douche minuscule et vieillotte et le petit déjeuner qui peut être amélioré.

Séjour très agréable. La situation de l'hôtel et son parking sont un plus très appréciable.

Hotel en centre ville, très agréable avec parking mais stationnement possible sur parking publique très proche ; petit déjeuner buffet avec du choix salé et sucré ; le personnel est très agréable ! Je recommande !

Hotel itself was fascinating: a town-centre, music-themed gem. The venerable age of the buildings contrasted pleasantly with the modern decoration. Beware of potentially occasional noise from the street, given the location! The staff were most helpful throughout.

Mauvaise experience dans cet hotel. Réveillés à 5h du matin par le bruit des autres chambres... puis a 7h par un enfant qui court puis qui pleure et hurle etc. En fait, les chambres sont extrêmement mal isolées. On arrivait a entendre mot pour mot les conversations des voisins de palier. Dommage de devoir vivre au rythme des enfants de la chambre d'à côté lorsque nous aurions souhaité avoir plutot un week-end reposant. (Sans compter les bruits incessants du chien qui aboyait la veille dans une chambre jusqu'a 23h passées)

Good location and usually parking on site. Peaceful, quiet and comfortable for our fifth short stay here. Staff are very good, friendly and helpful. Make sure to use their emailed advice to navigate to the hotel, we needed it because our sat nav is not up to date.

The staff were excellent, very polite and helpful. Would definitely use again. Room was comfortable and perfect.

Nice place in an excellent location. We have stayed here before and it seems the prices have gone up and the rooms have got smaller. Room was small but adequate. Toilet had a timed light that went off after 10 seconds! We spoke to the owner who said he knew it was annoying but didn’t do anything to change it… breakfast was poor, as was the housekeeping. Front of house stafff were excellent! Lots of art and lovely courtyard! Probably a bit expensive but this is La Rochelle. Will have to up its game to tempt us back a third time.

Was clean and right in the heart of town, could be a bit noisy with window open with scooters and traffic where room 25 was, but would stay again

Très bon hôtel en centre.

Hotel in a great location, walk to centre in minutes. Staff so friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet style nice and good choices. No lifts to upstairs, not a problem for us but just a reminder. They do have ground floor rooms. Top tip is prebook parking as limited spaces. Then follow the instructions for getting there. The one way system is a nightmare and ypu havecto go through no entey sign (except access). 2 nights not enough. Will be back...

Music themed hotel in central location in wonderful Rochelle. Room was v comfortable facing onto courtyard. Staff were friendly and efficient.

Penser à réserver pour un véhicule.. parking petit et inadapté pour les motos… bien situé centre de La Rochelle, bon petit déjeuner mais salle trop petite au regard de la taille de l’établissement.

We absolutely loved our stay at Francois 1er! The family room was spacious and the hotel is tastefully decorated with art and pieces of music items, as this is the overall theme. The kids enjoyed the music corner with headphones. The breakfast was also of a high quality.
