The smell in the room was terrible, as a matter of fact two rooms beside us had the windows open (I'm sure to air the room out). As far as staff and service, the lady who checked us in was very nice, but she is the ONLY one on staff that we saw and only that one time. There was a phone available to call.

upon arrival there was no one at the desk, you had to use the phone to get someone to check you in.when we checked in we paid in full, when we got back home we checked our bank account only to learn they charged us for another day, when called back they said oh it must be a mistake.they said check on Monday to see if it is credited.

You need a rug in the entry of the room. The floor was sandy and muddy.

They have done a very nice job with the remodel. I've been using this hotel for the past 40 years. The downtown location can't be beat. Walking distance to many restaurants and bars and downtown shopping.

Staff is helpful

Check in and staff were very friendly. The room was clean. Towels has some minor stains but we're fine. The room temperature controls were awful. Heat set to 61 and it was way to hot but cool set to 80 was way too cold. The hotel was a little maze like but that made it fun and interesting. The pool area was very open, a little dark but fine for the kids to play. Overall a great hotel for a hockey tournament and would recommend.

For the price that I had to pay, it wasn’t worth it. Dirty.

Incredibly disappointing. My room had a strong, chemical smell. There was no thermostat and the heating unit was out of control which made the room sauna dry. The toilet and bathroom faucet were loud and jet powered. The pool and hot tub were “under construction” … but my sister noted she has stayed there three times in the past year plus and they’ve NEVER been available.

If you are a light sleeper, I suggest asking for a room on the street side not the parking lot. I was woken up all night by people talking/yelling outside my window smoking in the parking lot.

Great price and so far so good. I have said stayed here before and the room you old looking and the ac didn’t work. But now the room is totally updated and the ac works. New refrigerator and updated bathroom. Also beds and bedding is new. Pool room was much better than it was when I was here last.

Excellent service! Excellent location in downtown Rhinelander! The breakfast room was very nice!

Traveled with my grandson. He enjoyed the modern decor. Breakfast was good. The room was clean and beds comfortable.

Staff was welcoming, rooms were clean. We had a very nice stay.

My room was clean and well organized. The front desk was very helpful. I left some items in my room and they were great with providing instructions on what to do. I would stay again.
