There was a weird banging noise throughout the night from behind our AC/TV; still can make sense of why. The curtains wouldn’t close so we had to sleep with them open. The towels smelled used. The entire lobby smells like sewage.

Truly a lovely hotel! Easy access to the train station and they send someone to pick you up when you first arrive. The staff and service were all amazing and made sure our stay was very comfortable. We had a river view room which was spectacular. The rooms were great and I particularly loved the bathroom! We loved opening the windowing and hearing the roar of the river. Very close to where you have to line up for the bus to Machu Picchu and plenty of restaurants nearby, including the one in the hotel.

This was a perfect hotel while visiting Machu Picchu city and prepping for the hike up Montana Machu Picchu. The staff was very hospitable and grateful for our visit. Accommodation were excellent

Maylin was the standout member of a superb team of staff at the hotel. Everyone was so helpful and super friendly. The room was clean but a little worn in places, nothing to complain about. River view room is awesome but, with the river in full flow, it’s loud, didn’t stop us from sleeping though. Breakfast was good, decent selection and a cooked to order omelette was excellent. Easy walk from the train station and close to the bus stop for Machu Picchu. Would I go again, definitely

Ótima localização. Perto da saída dos ônibus, da estação de trem e do comércio. Quarto com vista para o rio. Bom café da manhã.

Experiência terrível e não recomendo a ninguém. Muito mais caro do que oferece, mesmo para os padrões de Aguas Calientes. O quarto tinha o piso sujo, o café da manhã é simplório, o banheiro molha muito fácil e os funcionários não são simpáticos. Eu avisei à equipe que estava doente (fui hospitalizado) a título de saber se seria possível um late check out, ainda que pago. Os funcionários não prestaram qualquer tipo de hospitalidade e expulsaram do quarto de forma grosseira.

The spa was beautiful and relaxing.

The SPA is not good, water is not hot. Toilet room has huge noisy from the exhausted fan, and the Toilet water not coming to tank automatically. need to open the tank cover and touch it. No slipper with cold floor. No heater. only A/C. two stars hotel.

The location was excellent. The hotel is more like a 3 star hotel.

Immediately upon walking into the hotel, we were greeted by the friendly staff providing coca tea for our light altitude sickness. There was air conditioning as well as great water pressure in the shower. The hotel sits along the train tracks so be sure to reserve a river view room for a little more quietness

Nice staff and very helpful. Super friendly service. They offered to take our luggage to the train station and showed us the town briefly and even how to get to Machu Picchu. Overall very great experience.

After we booked, the hotel contacted us & said they would meet us at the train station to escort us over to the property, which I thought was very thoughtful & such a great service to provide to arriving guests. We arrived & a person from the hotel had a sign with our names, & offered to carry our luggage on a cart over to the hotel, which again, such a nice & thoughtful service to provide. We arrived & were given welcome drinks. The general manager greeted us, & was nice enough to upgrade our room to a beautiful suite overlooking the river, because it was our wedding anniversary. The room was beautiful, cozy, and had gorgeous views of the river. Everything was perfect and the staff, especially Maylin & Alcides, were so nice and accommodating. We would definitely come back.

We had a wonderful stay. Diana at the front desk checked us in, and she was very sweet and friendly. The location is great - close to the PeruRail train station, and only a few minutes from the bus stop for Machu Picchu.

The hotel is really nice and well located, the staff are friendly and helpful, specially Maria and Enzo that were very informative and went an extra mile to make our staying very comfortable.

Casa del sol staff was amazing! They contacted me before the trip to make sure we had our Machu Picchu tickets, bus tickets and requested our time of arrival at the train station to help us get to the hotel. They also got us a guide for Machu Picchu who was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and helped us get in line and on the bus asap. The staff made the trip so easy and comfortable. The staff was extremely nice with excellent customer service. We would definitely come back to this hotel!!

Everything has been great and the hotel is in good condition However no free drink was offered unless we ate in the hotel which is different to everywhere we have stayed
