Absolute gem and good value for money, the staff are so welcoming. We’ll be back!

We booked this hotel as we were going to see Eric Clapton at G Live, from the moment we walked through the door we were made welcome by the owner Alfie, everyone we talked to couldn't be more friendly, the food was exceptional ( lunch and breakfast) and the room perfect, highly recommend staying here.

I've been a few times to eat and stay over and always have a great stay. Staff really friendly and food is perfect. I look forward to my next visit.

Check in was good, car park was busy - it was bank holiday Monday but there is parking on main road. Clean room with bath nice! Bar very good and sat outside in the sunshine ☀️😄 Dinner and breakfast was good as always

Lovely place to stay, high quality. Accommodated us with a takeaway breakfast as we had to leave earlier than the scheduled breakfast time. We had an evening meal in the pub which was superb. A slight bit of noise from the pub in the room during working hours but only to be expected, very quiet otherwise. Definitely would stay there again 👍

Parking was secure and Hotel very good. Lovely rooms only one comment. There was no where you could plug your hairdryer in near a mirror so you could see what you were doing.

Parking is ample and available. Very much and guesthouse B&B, not hotel as it’s check in closes at10pm. Staff were polite and welcoming. Room was clean, however the bathroom had a strong sewage smell. Free breakfast was welcoming and ample. Amenities and requirements were as expected for 1 night stay. Thank you

The room was large and full of character, the bedding was warm and sumptuous, the staff were helpful and very friendly, the restaurant food was of a high standard, as was the breakfast (although a little more would have been appreciated), it was a lovely large older building, and so the stay was enjoyable. But….it was the first night of the winter freeze and when we awoke, the heating had gone off. So we had to go from a very cosy warm bed to extremely cold conditions, which wasn’t fun! Apart from the heating, we had a very nice stay at this well patronised establishment. After breakfast, we wrapped up warm and went for a walk up the hills behind the Percy Arms, and at the top, the views were spectacular. The location was therefore surrounded by some beautiful countryside.

The room was incredible and we enjoyed our stay here enormously. The staff were all exceptionally helpful, humourous and kind; the bath in the room was one of the reasons we booked (and it delivered); and the food at breakfast was second to none. We'll definitely visit again!

room was gorgeous. Spacious and very comfortable. Great service at check-in and lovely evening meal. bathroom could have done with an update - not quite to the same standard as the bedroom itself. and a couple more hand towels would have helped. view of St Marthas were not so visible due to the condensation on the windows in the morning and the blinds, but we had a wonderful time. might be useful to have a slightly later check-in and later check-out. 10am check-out may be fine for a city hotel midweek, but on a sunday morning in a country pub after a lovely meal the night before, it felt a little rushed.
