Grand floor Pub is nice!!

Nice pub hotel, convenient parking, steep stairs to bedrooms, which were clean. Friendly staff.

Excellent service throughout. Good food and drinks. Landlord first class. Plenty of parking.

+ Friendly service at check-in and breakfast. Room good size. Breakfast very nice. Good car parking. - No toiletries in bathroom. A little noise as hotel is on a road, but not enough to stop me from having good sleep. I would stay again.

Great for a one night stay visiting family

Room lonked to the pub..but quiet.

Super friendly and efficient professional staff throughout. Simply can’t praise the owner and his super staff. You can’t get better. Food absolutely perfect. Clean, warm and welcoming.

We are travelling from city to city. It is what we call a "tent room". Only there for one night, has good showers and beds, the breakfast was included and good. The neighbourhood had a variety of restaurants. We chose the Indian restaurant (Dinajpur) which was great!!! We would go again for one night, not many nights.

Rooms above a pub. No loud music the time we were there. Cosy and friendly environment. Free parking.

Very welcoming, but basic room - nice large TV. Not sure who designed the bathroom, but if you were 'seated', then it was one leg in the bath and one on the skirting . Constant traffic noise and warnings of thefts from vehicles (not that they could do anything about that - just be warned). Cheap and cheerful. Suited for 1 night, but wouldn't stay there for a long break.

Good value. Friendly welcome by both staff and customers. Bedroom and bathroom very clean. Comfy beds. Fan provided. We were able to enjoy an evening meal even though the kitchen had just closed. Situated on noisy road junction. Lumpy pillows. A clothes hook in the bathroom would be beneficial.

Excellent value for the money

Very friendly and helpful staff the room was comfortable and clean with a good breakfast included,we will definitely use this hotel again if the need arises, the train station is just a short walk away which is a bonus for traveling from London.

Staff friendly and helpful . Did not like access through public bar to access stairs to room . Pillows could do with replacing . Limited choice of breakfast .

The property itself is unpreposessing but the friendliness of the staff and locals made it a pleasurable experience. Good off street parking, well sized rooms and walking distance to a superb Italian restaurant.

Hotel is a pub with rooms. Not suitable for the elderly. Needs a dedicated staff to deal with accommodation. Leaflet for services available in the hotel section. Pillows are tired and need changing. Towel rail needed in shower room. ~~~~~~~~~~ Rooms are clean, airy and bright. Good, firm mattress.

Very friendly and helpful welcome. Room is basic but clean and comfortable enough inline with the tariff. Just a bit of road noise but the traffic calmed down in the evening. All staff very friendly. Breakfast was cooked to order and very flexible.
