Fantastic place and great staff. Location and building were great.

Love the location in the old town. Always something to see and do. Lots of shops bars and restaurants. The hotel itself was wonderful the staff very helpful. My room overlooked the promenade and it was great people watching. Room spacious and comfortable and quite unique in decors. Would stay here again on my next Panama trip. Double thumbs up!

Perfectly suited for an inmersion in the panama mood

The hotel is marvelous, a true hidden gem in the middle of Panama City. Beyond the spotless rooms and the comfortable, well cooled space, what really set this place apart was the staff. They went above and beyond in a way I did not expect and will never forget. When something came up unexpectedly, they handled it personally, followed through on every single promise, and stayed on top of it long after most places would have simply moved on. That kind of genuine, no excuses hospitality is rare to find anywhere. I left completely at ease, knowing I was in the best possible hands. If you want a clean, welcoming home base in the city with a team that truly cares about its guests, this is the one. I could not recommend it more highly, and I will absolutely be back.

Excelente localização, tudo lá em casco viejo é perto mas está localização é a melhor. Equipe de funcionários cordial e prestativa. Limpeza e manutenção do quarto que poderia melhorar. Café da manhã tem opções quentes (tipo a la carte) ou fora do incluído tem muitas opções. O problema foi que meu quarto ficou ao lado da igreja que toca de hora em hora, começa 6h00 da manhã. impossível dormir!

I absolutely loved this property. It was in an incredible location, the architecture and ambience fit in with old town Panama very well. Most notably the staff went above and beyond all of the time. The doormen could not have been more helpful. They truly cared that we had a great stay, and that goes such a long way.

Great location and staff, beautiful maintained old style classic hotel. My third stay in three months, absolutely love the place! Had my family stay on this occasion. Two sons in separate room and they loved it also, my wife now knows why l rave about the hotel and Panama as they are visiting from Australia. Keep up the fantastic work team.

Eu e meu noivo fizemos um stop-over: recomendo pela cortesia, proximidade de Casco Viejo e pela construção histórica. Os funcionários foram muito simpáticos, principalmente o Kevin, que nos mostrou a estrutura e falou sobre Casco Viejo e seus edifícios. Recomendo.

Room was clean, staff was friendly, and location was great. And it was a beautiful property.

My husband and I stayed at the American Trade Hotel for a weekend getaway, and it exceeded our expectations. The hotel is perfectly located in Casco Viejo, within walking distance of incredible restaurants, museums, rooftop bars, and many of the area’s top attractions, making it easy to explore the neighborhood. What truly made our stay special was the exceptional staff. Everyone was warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout our visit. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, full of charm and character while still feeling luxurious. Our room was spotless, thoughtfully designed, and beautifully decorated, creating a comfortable and relaxing space to unwind after a day of exploring. We had an amazing experience and would absolutely stay here again the next time we’re in Panama City.

Very clean and central

The room lighting is very poor. The bathroom is a deathtrap! VERY DANGEROUS TO GET IN AND OUT OF THE TUB!!!!. The hot water is intermittent. It’s a shame
