Our second visit to Bowness guest house as we were so impressed the first time. The first floor room was perfect and the bed was so comfortable we wished we were staying longer. Great location for Bowness and beyond, plus restaurants and bars within a 5-10min walk.

We had a brilliant stay at Bowness Guest House, our hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious, modern and clean, with a comfortable bed! I would highly reccommend this guest house, we will definitely be back!

Lovely stay in the dog friendly deluxe room. Very comfortable, clean and well decorated room. The room has it's own parking space and is only about 10 minutes walk down to the centre of Bowness. Hosts are very friendly but leave you to enjoy the room in peace with the proviso that they are only a message away should you need anything. They are happy to provide any information on the local area required. They even provide dog bed, bowls and towel though we had brought our own. We will definitely be returning to this gem.

A beautiful little room tucked away at the top of bowness, nice and quiet and perfectly situated to get into town. Michelle was wonderful making sure everything was ok with our stay and our dog was very well catered for with treats, bowls and a bed provided!

Very nice people who helped us with a very late arrival. We appreciate their flexibility.

Should have checked my booking more accurately, especially re Room only. Would prefer B&B but it was a lovely place to stay, most welcoming and Rhian and I had had a busy and enjoyable few days, visiting the Beatrix Potter Attraction, the Lakeside Aquarium, undertaking a Lake cruise, visited the Lakeland Motor Museum and at beautiful and sunny (on the day) Keswick, the Derwent Pencil Museum. All within 20 miles!

Great place & accommodating hosts

We had such a lovely welcome from the host who showed us to our room and gave tips for dinner and drinks nearby. The room was perfect for our needs, the location was ideal and we left wishing we had booked for longer. Will definitely be back!
