A1 IS NOISY ALL NIGHT

Clean and tidy but needing some tic in the bathrooms and windows. Breakfast was a nice surprise. Handy for the A1, Luton Airport and the break up long journeys to London.

Receptionist was very helpful and friendly. Room was good size but bathroom needed updating. Breakfast was very basic (toast and cereal)

Comfortable but needs an overhaul. Decor tied

You get what you pay for. A cheap and semi comfortable bed in a decent size room.

Cheap and Cheerful Lodge by the A1. The rooms are large and comfortable, with no road noise heard. The simple breakfast is an added bonus.

This is the worse hotel I have ever stayed in bathroom filthy looked like it had not been cleaned for year Main room grime all over floor and dirt all around bed legs cups look like they had not been washed even after washing black marks would not come out Windows double glassing units had blown and hard to see out off staff lied Pay extra and avoid this please at all costs We book in around 4ish myself and two of my children come out in some mad rash eyes were swallow so we Left this place and traveled home a day early Staff told lies to cover them self they were no help wish I could give them a 0 rating because that’s what this place deserves Both rooms smelled of human feases

Having mobility issues, I spent the night in their accessible room, adjacent to reception. Fitted out appropriately, I enjoyed a soak in the bath before retiring to the comfortable bed. No issues. Even enjoyed a bit of banter with the staff.

Good options but old interior and less indoor dining space, breakfast menu could be altered

Staff are friendly but the rooms are getting ready for upgrades. Furniture is looking tired. There website on Expedia is well out of date still showing pets at 10 per stay, when I stayed in January I was told it had just gone up to 15 then on arrival I was told it was 15 per night

Wasn’t signposted so went past it Only a couple of tables to eat at Afternoon/ evening staff was helpful

Just got home from from a family wedding stayed at redwings lodge staff very friendly and extremely helpfully would definitely recommend

We have stayed here a few times because of it's location near to family. It's a no frills lodge; rough around the edges with a very basic breakfast consisting of toast, croissant's and cereal. All of this is acceptable given the price per person per stay. I do however think charging almost the same for a pet as an adult - without breakfast - is extortionate, considering some adults would almost certainly make more mess than a pet. I very much doubt we will be back in future, such a shame given the locality and the convenience of Cody's restaurant and bar on site. A total upgrade, revamp and pet breakfast would be the only reason I would pay that amount of money for my pet again.

The young man on reception was extremely friendly and helpful! Basic hotel, but clean and comfortable. We would stay again.

The room was very shabby, holes in the net curtains, the shower was absolutely awful very ltd breakfast, bread was stale and served in the entrance, if it was £20:00 would be ok

Rooms need modernisation and breakfast facilities were limited

Bath had chips and looked unclean. Bed also.looked unclean and slept on top of the covers . Was to tired to complain.
