This is a lovely farmhouse about a mile outside Birr, County Offaly. The owners are a great couple; the hospitality was fantastic & obvious from the start; there is WIFI; car parking space; room very comfortable; John even charged my electric car; the breakfast was fabulous. This was a better experience than most hotels. We really enjoyed our stay; pity it was just the one night. Overall a brilliant experience.

The breakfast was fantastic! The owners were friendly and helpful. The asked several times if we needed anything. There were flowers so creatively potted in jeans. Made for a fun look.

Second time I have stayed and it is a lovely place for a quiet, comfortable stay with the feel of home as opposed to feeling like a hotel. Fresh cooked breakfast and not far from town for afternoon or evening food options.

Small room with outdated bathroom. Kind host, good breakfast. Quiet place in the middle of fields. Common areas could be cleaner.

We stayed at The ring farmhouse for a wedding, it was a quiet and peaceful location. Carmel looked after us well, particularly at breakfast and even saved the day by lending us an iron. We had a good sized room and ensuite bathroom with the fluffiest towels we've ever had in any bnb. A lovely stay!
