Good basic cheap accommodation, free parking and lovely pub,

Nice rooms, clean and comfy.

I stayed for a few days recently and found everything to be excellent. Whilst the room was small, it was definitely adequate and had the amenities that I needed. On checking in, the lady who took care of me was lovely and very helpful, especially moving my room to ground floor due to my mobility issues. She didn’t need asking, just helped me out regardless. She took my case for me and showed me my room and explained where things were. Can’t fault my stay and experience with them. Would definitely recommend. Thank you Oddfellows Inn. 🔝Marks.

Only stayed night. Pub ok. Room clean and serviceable. Downside was nowhere to find anywhere to eat in village

This was only being used as a overnight pit stop. I shared a twin room with my friend. It was clean tidy & Tea & coffee was supplied. The beds were awful, the mattress sank down to the bed frame. Outside of that nice.

Stayed in Room 4. Small room and ensuite bathroom. The room was clean, and there were tea and coffee facilities. There were however a number of maintenance issues, the lock on the door was loose, the rack to hang your clothes on had come loose at the top end. Looking at previous reviews these issues were picked up on a review posted two years ago. The main light would only occasionally work if you banged the light fitting (not ideal as this could be due to loose wires). Shower had very little flow and was more of a drip than a shower. We thought the nightly rate was high for the standard of the property and lack of breakfast.

Room was clean, bathroom was clean, heating was good, mattress was excellent.

The welcome was warm, staff are lovely and the pub food is very good. Squeaky, metal bed frames were not expected when it costs £40 to lie on it, though.

Just needed a night sleep however the mattress was of shocking quality. I could feel every single metal spring during the night. I woke up super early with back pain and more tired than the night before.

Only there for an overnight stay, but would return again and recommend to others. Small but functional room. Well supplied with essentials. Friendly helpful staff. When having travelled a long way with dogs I wanted somewhere to walk them and find somewhere to eat

Lovely location. Enjoyed walking into the small town. Plenty of good eating & drinking places. Decent clean room, very good for the price. The only downside was the thinness of the walls & ceiling. We could hear EVERYTHING & every word in the adjacent room & every movement in the room above. That's fine as you're the one getting up regularly throughout the night or the first ones up having a shower --not so much if you like your sleep & a bit of a lay in beyond 6 am. The checkin was fast and efficent, the room and bed were comfortable. The pillows were stained and the fridge had a mouldy smell when you opened it. I was dissapointed that the bar stopped serving by 5:00 on a Saturday. As we only arrived at 4:30. The staff were friendly and the entertainment was good.
