Great place for sledding , bar, food all in one place. Good parking friendly staff.

Tout etait parfait!

A plumbing problem limit the hot water for 50% of the customers. This was known by the hotel but they never advised us at the registration. We were part of the 50% customers who took a cold shower for the same price and no compensation except they offer us to book at another hotel. Easter weekend in a city with limited offer, we were trap.

Grand hôtel, plusieurs places de stationnement. Mais cette journée-là beaucoup de slush, flat d'eau et certaine glace dans le stationnement non gratté et pendant la nuit le tout à geler. Pour mon check-out personne à la réception j'ai attendu un peu mais toujours pas personnes pour remettre la carte d'accès de chambre et pas reçu ma facture, le risque est grand pour qu'une personne malveillante prenne la carte sur le bureau et l'utilise. C'est un bel hôtel sans déjeuner inclus mais ceux qui paie pour le brunch c'est excellent. Endroit reconnu pour ses salles de réception et restaurant.

At the price they charge for the room the breakfast should be included.

Tout était propre et pratiquement neuf. L'hôtel est près du centre-ville de Val d'Or et le sentier de motoneige passe directement sur le terrain. L'administration permet aux clients de laisser leur véhicule + remorque dans le stationnement quand ils quittent plusieurs jours en motoneige. Il y a un resto-bar au rez-de-chaussée et le menu avait l'air bon.

Clean rooms and friendly staff

The room was great, and the food in the restaurant is also good. Staff was ok The gym needs some new equipment, the only tresdmill and elliptique machine where not functionnal. The exercise bike was not great. The key cards don’t work to open some of the outdoor doors. It’s annoying of you have to being in lots of stuff and you are parked at the end of the hotel. This has been like this for over a year.

Staff were wonderful. They were kind. The only drawback was the water heater was broken and so we only got a lukewarm shower. But it will be fixed.

La chambre était en bon état général. Par contre, les matelas étaient mous et creusaient dans le milieu. Le système de chauffage était extrêmement bruyant et rendait le sommeil difficile. Le personnel était courtois. Le brunch délicieux. Cependant, pour le souper, nous avions réservé à la salle à manger mais avons dû se résigner à une table au bar près des machines de jeux, la salle à manger étant demeurée fermée faute de personnel. Ce fait a aussi causé une attente interminable du service du repas malgré la bonne volonté des serveuses présentes...
