Pros: Location is great, only walking distance to the waterfront. Stayed for one night due to a business meeting the next day. The bedroom was spacious. Very quiet area, apart from the noisy seagulls in the middle of the night! The host lady was helpful, be aware the reception closes at 9.30pm so if you arriving later make sure you message the property! Cons: The property on the inside feels and looks tiring and will definitely benefit from some renovation works, carpet does not give a good impression on the upper floors and within the bedroom itself. Check any appliances in your room such as as kettles, smoke was coming out from my kettle so i immediately remove from the socket. There is limited site parking and is very much controlled by traffic wardens.

Really good value for money place. Our host was welcoming, and room was well decorated, clean and tidy. The beds were comfortable and the shower was very good.

The description says 'secure, on-site parking'. This is a lie. When asking the caretaker of the property, she looked confused, said there is no parking included, but that we could park on the street if we could find a bay. There is a multi-story that you can pay to park in a short walk away. So don't expect secure on site parking. Otherwise, standard issue guest house - thin walls, thin mattresses and run down, but clean and cheap. The code to get back in didnt work which was a pain. The caretaker was lovely.

Absolutely wonderful, went above and beyond to help with a last minute change. Room was immaculate, everything you need and the location could not be better, 2 minutes to everything we wanted!

Vi hade bokat ett rum för en natts boende. Trevligt mottagande och inget att klaga på då det gäller boendet. Det var vad jag hade förväntat mig. Inget mer, inget mindre. Boendet ligger på gångavstånd till ett antal restauranger och barer. Stranden är cirka 5 minuter bort.

I had a lovely stay at Senlac Hotel in Hastings. While the building and décor are slightly dated and I had a room with shared bathroom and toilet facilities, everything was spotlessly clean and well-maintained throughout my stay. The shared amenities were always tidy, and I never had to wait to use them. The room itself was cozy, comfortable, and had all the essentials. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with any questions. The location is also excellent – just a short walk from the train station and close to the seafront and shops. Overall, it’s great value for money, especially if you’re looking for a clean and convenient base to explore Hastings. I’d – Clean, Comfortable, and Great Value! I really enjoyed my stay here on April 5th, 2025! Clean, safe, charming decor & less than 5 min walk to the train station. Will definitely stay again in the future :))

Had to hand over my credit card for a security deposit that wasn’t mentioned, woman took the details down and 3 days later my card has been fraudulently used in Australia. Seems far too much of a coincidence

Place is okay. Parking needs to be paid for until 6pm. And that's very limited. Small bathroom. Tiny sink.
