Staff was awesome! Food was excellent! Location was amazing! The only drawback is the rooms need updating to match. Room was certainly clean but bathroom was small and room a bit tight. We only had one night to spend and all three couples enjoyed the too short amount of time immensely. Staff was so friendly and totally on it. We lingered in the pool as long as possible then stayed late into the evening at the lovely table they’d set up outside for us. Montemarcello is such a cute village and the tiny coffee shop on the tiny square had the best warm croissant I ate on our entire trip. We will be back!

Beautiful rooms. We and our friends had the "Fantastia Mare" with a nice balcony and a great view high above the gulf. The property is lovely, ample, tasty and varied breakfast items were included and great dinner menu. But the best was the charming, gracious staff. We were made to feel so welcome! Expensive, but worth it!

The view and the pool are amazing. The food is delicious. However the service is terrible. Waiters, receptionists, barman are very nice but not efficient at all. We had to wait 30 minutes for our drinks by the pool, 30 minutes for our wine bottle and 45 minutes for our first dish at the restaurant. There was no lotion in the room and after waiting for 45 minutes, it never arrived. We had to bring our luggages downstairs ourselves because the reception didn’t send the butler on time.

This was the perfect location to stay for a retreat and also for a day trip into Cinque Terre. We won’t get over being driven in a cart to and from the parking lot down a charming rock wall lined street. It’s the most magical entry to a hotel we’ve ever experienced. Their customer service is exceptional, going above and beyond in every way. We were greeted with a welcome drink and given complimentary DELICIOUS snacks by the pool. The view at breakfast was the best we experienced in all of Italy. Looking into the Ligurian sea was beautiful. The spa was wonderful and available to us to use privately for an hour when it was not in use. What a treat! Sauna, steam room relaxation areas with a freshly prepared treat made by the chef waiting for us. Two nights was not enough to enjoy this beautiful property! Laura gave us recommendations on how to enjoy Cinque Terre and local restaurants, plus graciously answered any of our questions. We loved meeting her!

To recover and enjoy the view an excellent place. Quiet, appropriate service, clean rooms

We had the unfortunate experience of having all our luggage stolen, our money stolen and our rental car broken into. Directly following that experience we arrived at your hotel 2:30 am in the morning . The staff went above and beyond to provide a lovely meal for us, drinks , essentials such as toothbrush, toothpaste and even facial Products. The next day they did their best to close up the broken window of our car all by their own volition. The hotel, food and service plus incredible view couldn’t be better. Thank you so much for restoring our trust in Italy and thereby allowing us the opportunity to stay and enjoy the country.

The staff was extremely kind and helpful with planning dinners around the area. The included spa was a nice touch. Loved the panoramic sauna.

Bel hôtel en général, vue à couper le souffle! Belle chambre, lit confortable, salle de bain ont besoin d’une mise à niveau (minuscule douche, séchoir des années 1990). Pour ce qui est de la nourriture, c’était impeccable. Souper à la carte avec vue était un de nos meilleurs de nos vacances. Souper Golden hour, offert pour 50 euro par personne incluant le vin était basic mais bon rapport qualité prix. L’endroit est un peu difficile d’accès mais c’est génial pour la tranquillité. Pour ce qui est du service, nous sommes un peu embêté, à certain moment c’était excellent et d’autre un peu moins, par exemple au bord de la piscine le service aux chaises n’est pas fait de façon automatique, il faut le demander. À l’accueil, ça a été un peu long avant qu’on nous dirige vers nos chambres. Parcontre, on nous a bien conseillé pour les activités dans la région et tout le personnel était courtois et gentil.

Zeer mooie ligging met prachtig zicht. Kamers waren ruim, badkamer was zeer basic (was toe aan renovatie) voor een 5 sterren hotel. Zeer goed en uitgebreid ontbijt.

Overall I really liked this hotel however a couple things really degraded the experience even though I booked the most expensive room at the hotel. Typically when you get the best room in an entire hotel they treat you extra well, not in this case. 1. There is NO on site parking. You have to park about a mile away and call the hotel for them to come pick you up in a golf cart because the streets to the hotel are too small for a car. I wish I had known this before going to the hotel as it took me a very frustrating 30min to find this out from the locals in town. 2. I like my room to be a little bit on the colder side and the air conditioning does not go below 19celcius at this hotel. I have travelled all over the world and never seen a hotel restrict the temperature this high and it was definitely not feeling like 19c in the room, more like 23c. Suffice to say I was tossing and turning all night sweating. After calling the front desk they told me it was italian law which was a lie since my hotels in both florence and rome had no issue going below 19. That all being said, the property is beautiful, the view is amazing and the food at the restaurant on site is top notch. If not for the air conditioning and parking situation it would get 5 stars from me. Because of the air conditioning issue alone I will never stay at this hotel again.

We loved our stay at the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful and all the food was delicious. Will definitely be returning!
